Michael: “Often, My beloveds, you feel so helpless. You watch the news or read your newspapers, and unfortunately you become the embodiment of the chaos in your thought-life.
“You are helpless, only by the fact that you allow leeway to the helpless feelings by your mental commiseration with the chaos.
“If I were to simply tell you to give up on the news, you would feel offended by My apparent infringement on your free will to watch whatever you will. But this false sense of infringement is nonsense. This world’s chaos itself is the daily infringement you choose to personally suffer through.
“Who are the victims here? Are they the helpless victims you cannot help? Or are they the victims who refuse to see themselves as mentally victimized by the seeming chaos?
“Move away from the habit of lending your attention to despair.”
