Paulo Coelho ISBN 0 7322 6217 8

I confess to being a great fan of Coelho. This is another masterpiece. The story of the Old Testament Elijah. Who cares how much of it he made up, it's a fabulous tale. Coelho is one of those authors who makes you wonder how much he knows. Right at the very end of the tale, he refers to the Bible passage "there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

Coelho does not add any explanation of that passage, but I gather it means that Elijah was one of very few mortals who actually achieved fusion with his TA, and passed directly from a mortal to a "celestial", by passing all the mansion worlds. Perhaps one day we should ask if that passage in the Bible is accurate.
"Slip your hand into the hand of God and you will never walk alone"
