Re: World Views
Re: https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2021/12/ ... inclusive/
"Logan Dubil went to the University of Pittsburgh to ask students about whether or not the classic Christmas song
'Frosty the Snowman' is inclusive enough, as the song assumes Frosty’s pronouns"
Hmmm ...
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them" (Genesis 1:27)
Since this song was written long after God created male and female
(but still long before God then created he and she 'they'), the song
just reflects the increasingly distant pro-God pronouns.
Why not adapt the song to modern times, like this
(assuming 'Bro' also gets new pronouns):
Frostee the Snow Bro
Frostee the Snow Bro, was a jolly happy soul,
With a corn cob pipe and a button nose, and two eyes made of coal.
Frostee the Snow Bro, is a fairy tale, some say.
They were spheres of snow, but the children know they came to life one day.
There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found,
For when they placed it on their head, they began to dance around!
Oh, Frostee the Snow Bro, was alive as they could be;
and the children say they could laugh and play,
just the same as you and me.
Thumpety thump, thump, thumpety thump, thump,
look at Frostee go.
Thumpety thump, thump, thumpety thump, thump,
over the hills of snow.
Frostee the Snow Bro, knew the sun was hot that day,
so they said, "Let's run, and have some fun, before we melt away."
Down to the village, with a broomstick in their hand,
Shouting here and there, all around the square,
"Kids, catch us if you can!"
They led them down the streets of town, right to the traffic cop;
and only paused a moment, when they heard cop holler, "Stop!"
For Frostee the Snow Bro, had to hurry on their way,
But they waved goodbye, sayin' "Don't you cry,
we'll be back again some day."
OMG! Is 'Bra' feminine for 'Bro' ?!
"Hey Bro, me and my Bra are goin' to the pub tonight.
Join us there and bring your favorite Bra!"

"ACLU expert says Elf on a Shelf not healthy for kids"
"I know a lot of families just see this as a fun thing, but it’s worth thinking
about the messages it’s giving to children about surveillance by authorities"
Maybe kids would feel less threatened if they knew cameras
all over the city keep an eye on adults' behavior.
"Alexa, what should I wear today for the cameras at the mall ?"

"Dad who said 'Let's Go Brandon' on Santa tracker livestream says he's since been threatened"
Actually (and in the spirit of "joke"), "Let's go, Brandon" seems the intended meaning
with "Let's go" meaning "Let's go forward from here" and "Brandon" the nickname
alluding to that emotional "Bronx Cheer" by a like-minded chorus weeks ago.

And a stud's stud sans dangle still sends a message.

Others continue to store bitcoins on exchanges while not trading them, which means the actual volume in circulation may be even lower than 1.3 million."
Helps prove that "bitcoin" is not suitable as a "medium of exchange" ...
for without the medium there can be no exchange (of goods and services).

"Flight 2022 Instructions"
Very positive, uplifting pre-flight instructions, but might be a tough flight ...
if, for example, you felt pressured to have your child vaccinated then that child died
soon after of cardiac arrest or other probable side effects.
Best guess: Human emotions are necessary alarms to instruct
how we're immediately reacting to crises, alarms that cannot
be ignored but can be acknowledged then "defused" ASAP,
depending on similar lifetime successes (or at least,
vicariously by observing how others recover).

Apparently, a link you send that contains this UTM code after the URL

Good marketing feedback, but also a way to identify info pushers?
Best guess: If mouse pointer over URL link shows UTM code,
go elsewhere for this info (if you don't want to be tracked).

Re: https://www.studyfinds.org/microplastic ... -diseases/
"Microplastics contaminating food and drinks may be fueling a dramatic rise in bowel diseases"
The good news is that, except for eating certain ocean fish, it may easy to reduce consumption of microplastics by never microwaving food in disposable plastic containers, limiting plastic-bottled drinks (and drinks served in plastic cups), and avoiding convenience foods in plastic containers (especially if kept hot in a store, like baked chicken)
Since "bowel disease" is mentioned, this suggests that the body is trying to eliminate microplastics and could use more beneficial fiber (chia seeds and raw carrots are good sources ... but there are many others). BTW: The immune system continually dumps toxins and other debris into the "sewer", expecting that dietary fiber will help eliminate this quickly (and not linger to cause bowel disease?).
As for airborne microplastics, masks probably help even if they don't catch microscopic disease particles
(but these may be attached to sneeze droplets that ARE caught by masks).
