The problem with "speaking metaphorically" in public is that the public doesn't easily know
a flippant metaphor from a whimsical joke from aggressive intent.

A metaphorical "bomb on plane", expressed at an airport (or even online
during travel) will probably delay your trip while you relax in confinement,
at least until your true itinerary is confirmed.

A twice told tale can land your tail in jail,
even if quoted precisely but without
your emotions, hand gestures, etc.

You don't have to take sides to comprehend that
Cookies sell! Period! Good cookies sell better.
Few consumers cannot rationalize a cookie!

While cakes are similar, the subtlety is that cakes
represent multiple servings (unless you're FOND of cake),
whereas cookies - even a small bag - is just a few bites
... unless a bag is one serving. (Been there! Done that!)
