"The city of Columbus, Ohio, has already vowed to bring down its statue of Christopher Columbus. But thousands are hoping
to erase the city's connection to Columbus' legacy even further by renaming it Flavortown in honor of Columbus native Guy Fieri."

If you're tryin' to erase historical legacy, a city known for its association
with "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" would indeed be "memorable"!
Even "Columbus ate here!" might be promoted by some D, D, or D.
Tats and earrings for both boys & girls (with a stick-on stache)
completes the city's new look for the Chamber of Commerce.

Perhaps whimsical but positive change because racism
is not replaced with other racism.

" 'Exploding Whale Memorial Park' in Florence opened last week, taking its name from a massive, rotting sperm whale
that officials dynamited in 1970 after it was determined there was no safe way to remove it."

That's the ticket

(with renaming places) ...
Makes the park an ideal venue for all those eating contests
(winners get colorful Exploding Whale memorabilia)
