This video was sent to me in my email this morning. It addresses something I have been considering and have been a bit confused about.
How do we safely bring groceries home from the store without putting our family at risk. Imagine all the hands that may have touched the products you pull off your shelf. Obviously just sanitising our carts does not go far enough to protect us from Covid-19.
This video is a little lengthy, (13 minutes) but well worth the time if it helps save lives.

Re: Safe Ways to Bring Groceries into the House after a Trip to the Store
Sandy,
Thanks for posting this. Ken and Dave thought I went a little overboard when I sanitized everything. There were also some things I didn't think about like sanitizing the counters first and getting rid of the bags. I put ours in the laundry room to sit for three days, but probably should have disinfected them first. Smart idea taking the bag of cereal out of the box then getting rid of the box. Will have to think carefully about the fresh food we eat. In our stores most of the fruits and veggies are not packaged. Certainly would not want to soak broccoli and cauliflower in soapy water... let alone figuring out how to sanitize it.
Purchase items that can be immersed I guess.
The fact about the virus being able to live in frozen food for up to 2 years was shocking and frightening. How many of us bought extra to stock the freezer? Guess I did sanitized the packaging first.
The video was very informative, was surprised he did not wear gloves when unloading his groceries. And would be very difficult for anyone over 60 to not go shopping.
Take out sounds like a nightmare.
Thought I was very cautious, but can see where I should have taken more steps on some things. So thanks again for sharing!

And Spirit whispered, "There are no limits."
We are akin to the aspen forests, seemingly separated but in actuality, one organism.
