 Maybe vegans with Covid-19 can opt out of this remedy.

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... break.html

 Creative solution (attempt) ...
but this virus already inside the body is not disinfected. ;)

Daily monitoring, like body temperature or white cell count (in blood),
might help determine Covid-19 carriers/spreaders. :finger:

:study: Re: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324400

"The flu is a very common illness that affects around 5 to 20 percent of the United States population each year.
The virus is highly contagious and enters the body through the nose and mouth.
Once in the body, the virus affects the respiratory system."

 This hints that breathing in Covid-19 (via poor fitting and/or poor filtering masks)
is the typical start of infection ... further hinting that air in the environment
is the more common mechanism by which the virus is spread.

"Similar to SARS-CoV, a recent study confirmed that Angiotensin Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE 2),
a membrane exopeptidase, is the receptor used by 2019-nCoV for entry into the human cells."

:study: Re: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16001071 (2005)

"ACE2 has also recently been identified as a potential SARS virus receptor and is expressed in lungs."

 More evidence that air quality (and mask quality/fit) is very important for controlling Covid-19?
(Covid-19 is the now the official term for 2019-nCov)

Note: A good HVAC filter is important but does not filter Covid-19
(or maybe it does if a Covid-19 molecule is attached to a dust particle) :finger:

:study: More conjecture about Covid-19 and HVAC filters ...

 Most immune systems probably try to control early Covid-19 infection
and the lungs require good quality air ... continually :!: :!:

Perhaps, air quality should be tested as much as (more than?) patients. :o

 Difference in source of infection is that air breathed brings virus right to incubation tissue
whereas things touched then have to bring virus to "mouth, nose, or possibly eyes" ...
and it's easier to control transfer to mouth/nose/eyes than air breathed. ;)

"The findings, due to be published in the journal Psychological Science, showed that when the participants slept with their partner's t-shirt
they experienced better sleep quality, sleeping for an average of nine minutes more, even though their partner was not there."

 To increase the average, a woman may need to sleep with a man's t-shirt,
a man with a woman's silk top (but that much familiarity may not lead to sleep).

More about Covid-19 ...

:study: Re: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14647384

"our data indicate that ACE2 is a functional receptor for SARS-CoV."

:study: Re: https://www.jci.org/articles/view/46215

"Angiotensin receptor blockade attenuates cigarette smoke–induced lung injury and rescues lung architecture in mice"

"Use of Losartan, an angiotensin receptor type 1 blocker used widely in the clinic and known to antagonize TGF-β signaling, also improved oxidative stress, inflammation, metalloprotease activation and elastin remodeling. These data support our hypothesis that inhibition of TGF-β signaling through angiotensin receptor blockade can attenuate CS-induced lung injury in an established murine model."

 Analysis (attempt): The ACE2 drug, Losartan (angiotensin receptor blocker, ARB) is helpful in reducing ACE-related complications in the lungs. If a coronavirus stresses lungs via the ACE receptors, an ARB-type drug might be worth evaluation (medical research). :finger:

"A few people recovered from the first time by their own immune system, but the meds they use are damaging their heart tissue, and when they get it the second time, the antibody doesn’t help but makes it worse, and they die a sudden death from heart failure" :o

"With SARS (sudden acute respiratory syndrome), another coronavirus, researchers discovered that one of the ways the disease attaches itself is through an enzyme known as ACE2, a 'functional receptor' produced in several organs (oral and nasal mucosa, nasopharynx, lung, stomach, small intestine, colon, skin, lymph nodes, thymus, bone marrow, spleen, liver, kidney, and brain)."

"ACE2 is also abundantly present in humans in the epithelia of the lung and small intestine" ;)

"This has led some to speculate that Asians, who have higher concentrations of ACE2 ... may be affected to a greater degree than those of European ancestry, who produce the least of it - and have largely been the asymptomatic 'super spreaders' "

 Apparent summary: Asians are more susceptible to the complications of this coronavirus (re: ACE2 receptors), but non-Asians may also be spreading the virus because they have no or few symptoms. Thus, infected non-Asians may be effectively spreading a flu virus amongst other non-Asians and spreading something more serious amongst Asians.

"Coronavirus risk for Asians, Africans, Caucasians revealed"
"Japanese and Chinese at highest risk for Coronavirus"
(ACE2 receptors are the significant vulnerability)

 Blood pressure drugs that interact with the ACE mechanism:

Re: https://cvpharmacology.com/vasodilator/ACE

"African Americans do not respond as well as other races to monotherapy with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs); however, differences in blood pressure lowering efficacy are eliminated with adequate diuretic dosing. Therefore, current recommendations are that ACE inhibitors and ARBs are appropriate for use in African Americans, but not as monotherapy."

Hint that the quantity of ACE receptors relates to the ineffectiveness of monotherapy :?:

Re: https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.ph ... 30-seconds

"The absolute moment you get home, take off your shoes and leave them in the foyer.
DO NOT WALK AROUND YOUR HOUSE IN SHOES YOU WORE OUTSIDE.
You may have walked on a large amount of infected material as you were out
and if you wear those shoes in the house, the virus will spread in the house."

 What's surreal about this advice is that it's been true for decades!
(when you've been walking in public away from your own property)

Maybe an effective shoe cleaner at the front door is the next best habit ...
or a supply of these: https://www.shoeinnshoecovers.com/Shoe- ... s-s/13.htm
Tip: Avoid covers that cause the wearer to slip. ;)

But shoes once contaminated need proper handling (wear gloves, wash hands, etc.)
... and your front sidewalk is public property!

"Don't leave your house." seems the best advice!
Good luck with that.

 Also ...

A shoe changing station (bench, supplies, cleaning machine, anti-microbial mat, whatever)
at the front door may become the necessary norm if Covid-19 is in the community.
(include hand cleaning wipes and trash can)

 A good brush mat outside the door and anti-microbial mat inside the door
may be sufficient protection from minimal shoe debris, but does not clean tops of shoes.
Nevertheless, sufficient cleaning for a brief visit inside the house? :finger:

"How healthy your microbes are affects how well your body extracts energy and nutrients. A healthy gut is associated with a healthy metabolism. As a whole, the Western world is losing diversity in their gut microbiome. Things like antibiotic use, spending all of our time indoors, and moving into the cities have contributed to this loss in biodiversity."

Purposely cultivating a healthy microbiome (good food, exercise, rest, etc.)
may best prepare the immune system (and body) to tolerate a coronavirus. :finger:
