"'Boomer' is the N-word of ageism,' the 60-year-old wrote Sunday. 'Being hip and flip
does not make bigotry OK, nor is a derisive epithet acceptable because it is new.'"

Who knew
that "ageism" was an epithet category of words (re: "Boomer").
... and yet "grandpa" and "grandma" are not age-related
(maybe by context, "OK grandma" would be an epithet)

Amongst friends and family, epithets are "colorful language"
with no bigotry intent, but not in public ... apparently.
Then logically, "OK" itself is an epithet because it communicates
that the recipient is not worthy of the longer "alright, that's fine".

This trend hints that an AI interpreter will soon be required
to communicate without the slightest offense.
