The human body was engineered (several MYA ; - ) to extract amino acids from foods and recombine them - as needed - into its daily protein; several decades have now passed where quality research supports the reality of this "engineering". Whatever we consume as "protein" is still converted to amino acids before they're recombined - as needed - by the body.

I tried this with work shoes (at home), but had to replace my worn-out shoes when I ran out of Gorilla tape
(excellent wear for one season of yard work). But the time required to properly clean then tape the shoes
was about the same time required to buy a pair.

For some clothes, underwear, and socks, cloth medical tape works well!
... then there are safety pins, clothing glue, and needle & thread.
Tip: Use colored marker to blend taped holes with the fabric.

Who knew
that "ageism" was an epithet category of words (re: "Boomer").
... and yet "grandpa" and "grandma" are not age-related

Amongst friends and family, epithets are "colorful language"
with no bigotry intent, but not in public ... apparently.

Then logically, "OK" itself is an epithet because it communicates
that the recipient is not worthy of the longer "alright, that's fine".
This trend hints that an AI interpreter will soon be required
to communicate without the slightest offense.

The court's argument is like comparing apples to oranges (or bananas),
since men cannot nurse babies at their breasts.

... and this may be why transgender surgery has such public support.

On the other hand, anatomy of men and women is hardly a secret now
(to any age group), so laws about obscenity in public should refer less to
natural appearance and more to actual or symbolic sexual activity.

Perhaps, lighten the laws so that a crime is committed only if a verbal warning
by a local offical (or public sign) to "cover up" is ignored. Good opportunity
for volunteer Parts Patrols (PP) to keep the neighborhoods "decent".

Food safety is relatively controlled since can is covered and workers wear gloves.
Besides, how do we know that the can was not cleaned before being used as a table

... but I was a bit unsettled, one day decades ago in a middle class South Florida neighborhood, to see the wifey next door open a package of steaks outside and place the steaks directly on top of their trash can's lid. The lid was carried over to their barbecue pit where the steaks were properly broiled ... and tasted great - not trashy ... apparently.

Aircraft carriers may become the dinosaurs of military machinery - easy targets for modern offensive weapons.
Consider satellites, drones, lasers, over-the-horizon radar, pinpoint missiles (of all sizes), etc.
