Interesting (and creative) solution, but seems to ignore the aging of existing tracks and trains, aging that would not permit the faster speeds of a hyperloop. Besides, existing tracks are above ground, requiring similar construction of a nearby loop for overpasses, underpasses, etc.

On the other hand, loop aficionados seem to ignore the passenger pleasure of observing the countryside, a pleasure that could only be duplicated inside a loop train by displaying images from many cameras along the loop. OMG! This hints of 5G networks!
