"A woman who detransitioned in 2018 says there are many people who have had gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn't."

"But some believe further research and more discussion is needed in treating people with gender dysphoria,
as well as more options for them than gender transition."

 At least, there are many people now to opine about the experience; 8)
better solution may be to permit more flexibility with original sexuality.

Re: https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/libr ... int-flavor

"The vendor is not the first to create the politically-charged flavor. Ice cream shops in Denver and Seattle
are reportedly among several eateries to create treats using the divisive combination."

 Predictable! in this "politically correct" era that "peach" and "mint" should automatically infer (that word).
Fortunately, AI is progressing fast enough that we'll soon be able to consult this "intelligence" to know
how to speak correctly at all times ... in all places (including online). :roll

:bana: In the meantime, "Peach Cobbler with Mint" seems reasonable
... but "Fudge Mint" could associate with a related conviction ...
and "Fudge with Green Leaves" associates with happy times ...
so "Fudge with Mint" is the necessary compromise.

"Outrage on BOTH sides of the Atlantic as America REFUSES to waive diplomatic immunity for diplomat's wife
who has fled back to the States after 'killing British teen in wrong-way crash'"

 This should be interesting resolution since diplomatic immunity (in many countries, many years)
has historically protected diplomats and their families from prosecution.

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomatic_immunity

"Modern diplomatic immunity was codified as international law in the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961) which has been ratified
by all but a handful of nations. The concept and custom of diplomatic immunity dates back thousands of years."

"US diplomat's wife was driving on the wrong side of the road before her fatal UK crash"

 This hints that windshields of rented cars (rented by foreign drivers) might contain a symbol
like a divided horizontal line (two lanes) with a car silhouette in the proper lane for visual reference.
Or this could be a removable decal that the driver inserts on the inside of the windshield. ;)

Re: https://www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/heal ... r-20525223

"Vegetarians have higher intakes of fruit, vegetables, legumes and nuts than meat-eaters, and lower intakes of sodium.
Meat-eaters have a high intake of protein, particularly first-class animal protein, which also lifts energy intake.
Vitamin B12 may be a significant factor as most nutritionists consider it a nutrient at risk in some vegetarian diets,
unless fortified foods and supplements are eaten.
B12 doesn’t exist in the vegetable kingdom, it only exists naturally in foods of animal origin."

 Not that B-12 is the perfect supplement, but hinting that ...
an occasional egg (properly cooked) complements a "vegetarian" diet. ;)

More about Vitamin B-12 ...

Re: https://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/he ... e16777645/

"It's critical you meet your daily B12 requirements (adults require 2.4 micrograms a day) since the body relies on a steady intake to make and repair DNA, to produce red blood cells and to keep your nervous system working properly. Vitamin B12 is also used to convert carbohydrates, proteins and fats in foods into energy compounds the body can use."

"Psyllium is able to bind to fat and bile acids, which promotes their excretion from your body.
In the process of replacing these lost bile acids, the liver uses cholesterol to produce more.
As a result, blood cholesterol levels decrease." :roll

 Suddenly, "bacon 'n eggs" (probably healthy in moderation) seem half of the problem:
the other half is that the saturated fat (especially) is not eliminated from the body
by a good daily balance of soluble/insoluble fiber. Psyllium is one type of beneficial fiber
but requires good hydration of the body (water helps). ;)

 Such "force" doesn't seem fair, but ... all public services for hire (plus related products) could be perceived as celebrating same-sex unions: landscaping of property owned by a same-sex couple, taxi service for such couples, food catering, home decorating, custom clothing & jewelry, portrait painting, even dog walking!

With governments committed to equality for all of its citizens, non-religious public services seem to require full equality participation.
Perhaps, a private floral business is the solution when discrimination for religious reasons is the preferred practice. ;)

As for the flowers, the provider of them for our planet did not limit how they were to be appreciated.

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/arti ... igger.html

Interesting information about eatin' the stuff that is usually discarded
(but the same nutrition can be obtained without eatin' the discards).

 After testing various methods of making boiled eggs easier to peel,
I finally concluded that the shells contain the secret of why some eggs
are easier to peel, despite the cooking method. ;)

:roll This convinced me to start steaming eggs (carefully break into
heat-resistant bowl, add liquid egg whites if desired, then place bowl
in 3/4" water in pan with lid; simmer about 20-25 min.).

Re: https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/11/us/bees- ... index.html

"Scarlett Howard trained 22 honeybees that were randomly collected from 25 hives in Toulouse, France. They were split into two groups and taught to enter a Y-shaped maze and choose between two options, one right and one wrong. The correct answer always had four shapes, and the incorrect one could feature anywhere from one to 10 shapes."

 Does this indicate that bees know 4 objects are visible ... or simply that a unique pattern is the goal?
(study needed to display objects in different positions while maintaining number of objects per display).

LOL1: But then the study might prove that bees can remember different unique patterns ... and still not be "doing math".

LOL2: Number symbols used by modern humans have no intrinsic value - they're just patterns with assigned value. ;)

LOL3: To claim that bees are "punished" is exaggeration - Are humans "punished" ...
when receiving vanilla ice cream (menu item #1) when they meant to order chocolate (item #2)? :(

LOL4: 1. How many bees does it take to "punish" you for disturing their maze (nest)?
2. Is this number based on your size or that this is the nest's Rapid Response Team?
3. Did their lesson teach you math? [1. disturb nest (or) 2. don't disturb nest]

"Despite being reassured everything was 'going to plan' in the weeks leading up to the wedding,
the cake arrived the night before and was nothing like what the 52-year-old bride-to-be imagined."

 Since the more colorful peafowl are male*, the bride might have quick-ordered another cake
and served this one as the lesser beau not chosen. Guests would remember the cake humor :finger:
and not focus on the re-ordered cake (if less quality than planned).

* Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peafowl

"Peafowl is a common name for three species of birds in the genera Pavo and Afropavo of the Phasianidae family,
the pheasants and their allies. Male peafowl are referred to as peacocks, and female peafowl as peahens."
"Male peafowl are known for their piercing calls and their extravagant plumage." :colors:

or is it because there is a difference in the type of person who would choose to have a dog
versus somebody who would not? Are they healthier or wealthier? We don't know those things."

that you need to be more active ... every day ... even interacting with other people. ;)

Re: https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/13/us/calif ... index.html

"The bill, authored by state Sen. Robert Hertzberg, says students shouldn't be denied a meal of their choice because of unpaid fees.
It also ensures 'that the pupil is not shamed or treated differently from other pupils.'"

 The U.S. "Adopt a Child" program (not actual adoption of a foreign child but commitment to monthy support) hints
that this concept could be extended to local community school lunches.

"in May, yogurt company Chobani paid off the lunch debt of some students after finding out a Rhode Island school system had announced
that any students with unpaid balances on their lunch accounts would be getting a sun butter and jelly sandwich until their balance was paid."

 OMG! If "sun butter" is sunflower seed butter, that's gourmet "peanut butter" (costs more but has better nutrition).
Spread this on whole wheat or mutligrain bread to seriously upscale the common PB&J sandwich. ;)
