Aleah and Noah's song- Waiting

Post any poetry here. It's just too hard to define "inspired" in this context, so we will settle for that which inspires.

Hi Kim,
I can tell you that George has a much happier outlook since his "River encounter." We see one of his Specialist doctors on Monday and another test on the 21 st and so hopefully we will know more soon. But I feel all is looking up. :sunflower: :bana:

Thank you for spreading the love...

Dear Kim,

Though I've not told them about this river, I believe the space we've created is beneficial for all of us. That there are "wonder-workings" behind the scenes, that sympathy has opened our hearts to each other and those we pray for and allowed a space for Loving Action. Pappy and my friend seem to be just fine, in a world where our greatest enemy can be ourselves, just fine is okay with me.

Sandy and Eric,
'Just fine' and 'open hearts', are indeed good to hear! Many on my list are doing the same, others are not. Here's to praying everyone's status could reach that level. Eric, don't remember if I told you, but Tiny calls her grandpa on her mom's side, Pappy. He's a man who has many struggles of his own, warms my heart to hear of another loved Pappy in the world.

Have to admit I lay right down in the river this morning for several minutes, letting it wash away my own tears . In the wake of the shooting in New Zealand, amber alerts of missing children, mess our country continues to face, elevated crisis in so many of those close to me, and trying to get over the flu, my reserves seem to be dwindling today.

Am especially grateful to have the day off to, just like with cleaning, start in a corner and clear away the clutter of my emotions. On the bright side, our local arts council is having a gathering on Saturday as a nod to St. Patrick's Day. Amazing art works will decorate the walls, our writer's group is reading limerick's, going to be a Celtic band, and Aleah has agreed to sing a few Irish ballads. Should prove to be a merry crowd!

Hope you all have a very loved filled day! I'm off to clear the clutter.

Love,
Kim

Hi Kimmie,
The massacre in New Zealand has been a tough one to shake. This week end without diversions has proven not one of our better ones. Still the moping around hasn't helped anyone. I suspect a dip in the river with all our beloveds would have helped. :happy

Your week end sounded like loads of fun though... How are you feeling now? My little sister also had the flu and is slowly on the mend. Nasty stuff the flu.

Has spring broken there yet or are you still inundated with snow? On the news tonight they showed the flooding from the ice melting there in Northern US. I hope you and the family are safe and dry.

Love,
Sandy

Hi Sandy,
It's hard to even comment on the New Zealand massacre. Senseless hatred… Why? What does it accomplish?

Good morning!

Contemplating, sending love to those in my family and friend circle who are facing a plethora of serious problems in their lives. I found solace and strength in entering the river this morning. Dave and I are on either side of his coworker, holding hands with him as he lays in the water. At this moment on this plain, he's in hospice waiting for death. My prayers for him are to be able to see those in spirit 'waiting' for him, so he may ease into death unafraid. I'm holding Sandy's hand on the other side, she has one of George's hands, and Aleah clasps the other and so on and so on.

That's my vision of the river this morning one hand holding another in a seemingly unbroken zig-zagging line on down and out to the ocean where the water intermingles with the rivers of others. All of us receive healing from the river, rays of light from above, and from a golden ball of light passing from one person to another through their connection.

Love, Peace, and Courage to all,
Kim

Kimmie,
You brought tears to my eyes as I joined you in this River of Love. Whenever I tire and boy oh boy I do that so often these days. I wade into this wonderful river of love and friendship. Thank you for holding my hand as I am sometimes afraid. Thank you sister. Don't let go.

Love you to bits!

Sandy,
Some days I plunge into the river, not even holding my breath underwater as the currant washes away stress and uncertainty.

Releasing fear is one of our biggest challenges isn't it? I will hold your hand as often as needed, we'll both help the other keeping our heads above water... Unless we both decide to plunge in at the same time!

You know, I've always loved swimming under water. Even without goggles it still fills like exploring a strange new world. Used to do this in the bathtub as a kid. LOL Water all over the bathroom floor. But what fun! :bana:

Hello everyone,
I'm gratefully surprised how many views Aleah and Noah's song has received on the boards. As it has evolved to be so much more for me than a song my daughter sings, into a place, a symbol of healing. I hope many more continue to find it inspiring and healing. Perhaps that is the purpose of music?

Love to all,
Kim

Good Morning All!,
After posting todays meditation, I decided to listen to Aleah's song again. Although I visit The River regularly in meditation, I've not listened to the song in quite some time. I was still feeling a 'little loopy', after affects from this morning's meditation. Listening to the song, eyes closed, I felt a strong vibration that went straight to my heart, spread throughout my body right to my fingertips and toes! It was really crazy, still feeling the effects. I'd better do a little deep breathing to ground myself before going to be with Nova today. I can just see us bouncing off the ceiling like balloons, singing and dancing to our favorite CD Twang, Bang, Fiddle! Wishing a wonderful day for everyone! :bana: :bana: :bana:

Everyone, :loves
It's amazing seeing the number of people who have visited this thread! Please feel free to share your experiences.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed today by everything happening in the world, decided to come to the river again for a little centering. Entered the river, all is dark, I'm the only one here. Stood, eyes closed, arms bent at my sides, palms open. Listening to Aleah's song, I pray for healing of our world and all those who depend upon her. A shaft of light comes from the heavens directly to the top of my head, mingling with the music. My scalp and hands are tingling as the light and music travel down through my body, exiting each hand, spreading out encompassing the world.

There are so many things I cannot fix, but I can always pray.

Love to all. My hope is that this moment finds you well,
Kim

Hey Kim,

The River is a blessing, a comfort. Thanks to you and Aleah again for this peaceful construct that is always waiting for us. I would like to visit the river and rest in its water before bed tonight. I am falling asleep as I type so what are the odds I fall asleep in the soothing waters. Much like G's Akashic Construct, the peaceful sleep that often accompanies the participation is all part of the process and the healing.
There are so many things I cannot fix, but I can always pray.
Thank you for that. I too have been feeling more then a little overwhelmed by conditions in the world, but this reminder and some wisdom from Geoff earlier help me reclaim my "footing."

We are all one... Storm is coming and it is raining again. I love it. I've never loved the rain more then in this moment. :happy

I believe it. May that lovely rain continue for as long as it's needed. My prayers have been for your beloved Australia and for our beloved Urantia. Several moments though out the day taking the time to pause and send healing.

Greetings All!
This mornings sojourn to the river was very emotional for me. I invited the spirt of Australia, Urantia and my daughter-in-law to come to the river. Those beautiful spirits stood together in the center, while Iris, Aris and I held hands, encircling the three. When Aleah began singing, so did we all. When the music began Urantia, Rachel, and the spirit of Australia turned to face each other, began singing, while they all held hands. It was a circle within a circle. Shafts of loving healing light came down from above to each of us. It was a short, but powerful healing.

May the warmth of that loving light warm you all today.

Love,
Kim

Just went to The River,
Began as a healing with Iris and Aris and I holding hands, Urantia, Australia and Rachel in the middle. We began the healing, quickly changed with a impish splashing of the three in the center, a lot of laughing, and graceful dancing to the song. All of us holding hands then rising up out of the river, still dancing and singing. I bent down offering a hand to Aleah to join us. Then we all bent down offering a hand to whomever wanted to join us. It was all women at first. The dance was so graceful, light hearted and entrancing. We were rising, rising, dancing, smiling, singing. Sandy I didn't know you were a ballerina, I kid you not, swan like. Lynn laughing, clapping, singing. Then males began to join, everyone rising from the river... it was so joyful, musical,... visual poetry. Still caught in the feeling as I write this.

Thank you everyone. Hope to meet you here again.

Love,
Kim

It sounds so very refreshing and soothing, Kim. Thanks for having me , left feet and all. ;) I want you to know that I took ballet lessons when I was 5 years old. Grace is my middle name. LOL Okay I wish...my family still has the video evidence to prove that my dance career justifiably was quite short. But in spirit it is nice to know that I can show some grace...better still...let it all hang out without embarrassment. :bana: (Actually this banana dances better then me. )

I love the splashing of the celestials. Human beings will be human beings no matter the form they evolve to, I suspect. I can see us as beings of light some day along with our complacent Destiny Guardians in tow still giggling while splashing Christ Michael when he glides past. :sunflower: :bana:

Thanks for sharing ... I'll walk with a smile into the day. :D
