Above the entrance to the Oracle of Delphi were written the words, “Know yourself.” Jesus came along and added a sense of urgency and consequence to the ancient idea when he said, “If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”

What Jesus is saying is that spirituality is serious business, with serious consequences. Your life hangs precariously in the balance, teetering between a state of unconscious sleepwalking and eyes-wide-open spiritual enlightenment. The fact that most people do not see life this way testifies to how deeply asleep and in denial they truly are.

So what is it that we are to bring forth?

Hi Sandy,

I'm in the throes of a creative burst that includes new adventures materially, mentally and spiritually. Among other things I've spent several weeks in the wood shop on a new creation (yay! My favorite thing) and then I'm going to create a church. Wait for it... it won't be like any church that has ever come before (well not for two thousand years anyway)... no buildings, no theology, no money... just sharing the experience of Love in all its various manifestations. Also church will be a verb. To church is to consciously share moments of an open heart with others to let Love flow among the circuit created. It only takes two or more people. Actually, if you want to be more precise it only takes one physical person and some divine person but the more humans the better for all of us. A group will be called Gather. There's more to come. You'll be among the first to know and be able to roll your eyes and smile at another quixotic undertaking.

Lol! I'm pretty sure Sandy would be the last person to react the way you described. Besides if you feel inspired to create/ be a part of such a gathering, then really it doesn't matter what other peoples opinion of such a venture is, right?

Right you are. I haven't paid much attention to other people's opinions for the last 60 years. Nor do i take myself too seriously although I take life joyfully seriously.

I feel joyful just being around you... in the spirit pathways we all tread, anyway. I cannot imagine how joyful it must be living right next door to you, Welles and you too Kimmie. You guys lift me just by being in "proximity"to you and your energy.
