New Article on Remote Viewing

Post by Geoff »

Of course almost 10 years ago we reported on the book by Courtney Brown, a USA University Professor and social scientist and author of Cosmic Voyage published in 1997. He noted that the US Military were well aware of the existence of midwayers.

I had a different way of posting my views on this but after typing my response and re-reading it, i decided to delete it and ask my question from a different angle.
'
Geoff, what is it about Courtney Brown that has you a believer in his remote viewing abilities? The reason i ask is because i was introduced to this character over the summer, he was claiming he had an announcement that would change the consciousness of mankind...with posts for weeks that had "hints" to what this announcement was.

When the announcement came, it was a video about pyramids, but in order to view it, he wanted you to pay for it.....so in order to view this conscious altering, mankind changing announcement, you had to pay for it.

I cant even begin to describe how scammed i felt, because as a person with the kind of beliefs i do, i "felt" that this guy was genuine, even after i did the research and read his sessions from the nineties. I did see the one about midwayers...which blew my mind at the time.

Im not trying to be negative, i still feel like i truly WANT to believe this guy, but that event he had over the summer really cast some crazy doubt on him. I know it costs money to bring certain info to the masses...but the way he went about it really offended my senses...maybe i perceived this whole thing wrong?

Where you aware of his announcement over the summer Geoff? if so, what is your view on it if you dont mind me asking....i want to believe this guy because my senses tell me hes legit...but my logical brain wont allow that since i still feel cheated....i never got to see that announcement, i felt it was wrong to get everyone hyped up with anticipation....then on the day of the announcement...well, you have to pay if you want to see it.

You see, i want to believe...but i also dont want to slip into Naivety either....

Dear Jason,

His book is very credible. I am not saying its all true, in fact doubt it is but it is an account of remote viewing as an artform that has been tested. We do know that remote viewing can be done, heck George does it all the time.

I am sorry to hear about this turn of events. It reminds me of another guy, who claimed to have discovered a bunch of very advanced children in monasteries in Eastern Europe, and leveraged it much the way you are describing. After first liking what he had to say, I changed completely. Then had a hard time getting OFF his mailing list.

Regarding Cosmic Voyage ...

While believing that remote viewing (Simeon Hein says "resonance viewing") is a reality, and having read Cosmic Voyage this year, I doubt that remote viewing discoveries, in general, are sufficiently factual to merit belief without confirmation (i.e., by scientific methodology). At least, the many reports of team participation indicate that combined human brain power is a necessary filter for the data perceived by remote viewing.

I did not doubt that Courtney believed what he wrote, but suspect that his mind was challenged to report on this "psychic" input and bring it into material reality. In other words remote viewing, like midwayer messages, etc., requires great skill/training/perseverance. Fortunately, receivers like George Barnard and others provide this quality evidence of interaction with non-material beings.

Hi Rod,

Its a long time since I read that book, but I thought he did state that viewers are calibrated against known targets.

I don't think George says much about this topic, but he certainly sees stuff almost any where in real time.

It's interesting that Geoff mentioned remote viewing as George just used it a few weeks ago to peek into the nest of our Magpie friends high up in a Eucalyptus tree. I wanted to see how many were there and how far along they were. There were two wonderful babies who were still a bit straggly and just starting to produce pin feathers. Sadly, the terrible storm a little over a week ago must have blown them out of their nest. We don't know if they were old enough to survive away from the nest with their parents care or if the harsh conditions of that long stormy night were too much for their new systems to bear. But he hasn't had the nerve "to look" for them and I'm not about to ask him.
I guess no news is good news in this case. :finger:
Have a great week end everybody!
Love,
Sandy

Dear Sandy,

Oh dear I very much doubt a baby bird without feathers has any chance at all except being part of the food chain.

I know you're probably right and it breaks my heart to think they probably didn't make it. The mom and dad went through some terrible storms while they were still eggs too. September and October wasn't a good time to bring up baby birds this year.
