Ok I just want to start by saying since i've seen such a blowup of people seeing it, I no longer felt unique and stopped making a big deal about 11/11 despite how much I see it. But the coincidence of the first experience and just recently finding out it means "wake up" is just too ridiculous. Started when I was maybe 11 years old. One night I had my dead uncles clock next to me(still sleep with it next to me 9 years later...) and I woke up in the middle of the night turned over and you can guess what time it was. But the really weird part.. is that the very next night I woke up AGAIN at 11:11 with no alarm setting or noise that would for some reason be made at 11:11 on the dot. And the night after that, again. It's as if it wouldn't leave me alone until I recognized the coincidence. The 4 digit number won, and I found myself looking at the time when I woke up just to see. That went on for about 4 or 5 days straight. Now that I think about it... it's actually incredible. I know certain things such as the full moon on 11/11/11 car expiration date having been 11/11.. yeah those are coincidental but if I really wanted to I could chalk all experiences like that up to coincidence. But not the first 1, or the 3 to follow. I can't dent it means 'wake up'.
Also if I could just share real quick on what I think it really means. When I am in a dream which I realize is a dream, and during it turns into a nightmare(now Im not sure that anyone else has had this scenario happen to them because this is the first time telling anyone about my dreams like this) I almost find myself begging my conscious body to wake up. As if me laying on my bed is a different person. I believe the same sensation can be felt in life. Of knowing your sleeping wanting to reconnect to your body in the real world. I FULLY believe this, and I also believe 11:11 is just letting us know who is capable of connecting to our real body.

Hi Footstomper
Welcome to the board.
)...Anyway, in these dreams I always wake up and start into doing some project around the house only to figure out that I am actually still dreaming. The other day, for example, I fell asleep around 3pm. Around 4pm my 17 year old came home from school. I was SOOoooo tired...I tried to ask him how his day was but all that came out of my mouth was a slur of unrecognizable words. I decided I should go back to sleep. I went into one of my household mess dreams, and finally woke up when my phone rang at 4:44 (444 has been a BIG prompt for me the couple of weeks). Just then, my older son called on the phone. We spoke for a bit and I asked him if he wanted to speak to his brother. I went up to my younger son's room, no light on...searched the whole house for him and finally had the thought "I wonder if I dreamed that he came home?" I went to the driveway, and sure enough, his car was not there.
This is a mild version of my nap-time vivid dreams. Typically during these dreams I find myself fighting to wake up, thinking I have, only to find I haven't moved...and it repeats for quite a while.
The part I don't get is where you said

Welcome to the board.
On occasion I get the opportunity to take a mid day nap. Inevitably I have extremely vivid dreams (for me, typically "stress" dreams like every time I start to clean up a mess another bigger mess is added to the mixAlso if I could just share real quick on what I think it really means. When I am in a dream which I realize is a dream, and during it turns into a nightmare(now Im not sure that anyone else has had this scenario happen to them because this is the first time telling anyone about my dreams like this) I almost find myself begging my conscious body to wake up. Hi footstomper, welcome
I can kinda relate to your dream section. It reminds me of a dream I once had in where I was on the moon in spirit form and was being healed in some way. I was actually in some sort of hospital, on a hospital ward being healed, on the moon lol. Anyway all of a sudden a voice said, hurry it's waking up. A second later I was awake in my bedroom.
This was quite a powerful dream actually and seemed to distinguish to me the difference between who I am in body and also in spirit in some way. Afterwards I got the impression the body is a husk which you can leave, however I've never had any out of body experiences I can conciously recollect, but in dream form, I've done all sorts.
Hope to read more about your prompts and dreams

Re: Waking up at 11:11
Hey Sammy
.. what I meant by "me lying on my bed is a different person", is because when im trying to reconnect to the world from a dream it doesnt feel like im trying to connect to myself, because my mind is within the dream. it feels like im 2 totaly separate people and the only one im in control of is me inside the dream.. best way to describe it is like the movie matrix when Neo gets "plugged in". He is able to be aware that his body remains outside the matrix, but he isnt in control of weather or not he can reconnect with his body. thats the same sensation i get. if u can imagine Neo closes his eyes during the movie and begs himself to wake up without the guy at the computer reconnect his mind that is what i find myself doing during dreams sometimes
Edit: and again I believe that whole experience I mentioned can be felt while you are awake, and that is the key to the whole 11:11 thing. realizing you are trapped in the matrix without having even seen what is outside of the matrix, which is hard. it would be easy if we had all seen the real world, then came back. we could say "yeah, i know this is just a dream". but because life is all we know its hard to realize. but possible and this is all just theory..

Re: Waking up at 11:11
In fact now that I think, the thought relates less to Neo being in the matrix and trying to reconnect and more to when he initially swallows the red pill. picture neo was able to connect to his real body using his own mind and not needing to take that pill. almost impossible but pretty much the scenario... I stand by that whoever wrote the matrix knows 10x more than I do lol
