My experiences with 11:11 etc...

Hi everyone

I wanted to share my experiences...

My beloved dog died suddenly last August.

It started with 12:12, which is his birthday.  It was uncanny...
Twice a day, I received this message.  I felt it was playful & a reminder that he was around. I left it at that.

Then, it ramped up.

11:11,12:12, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44 etc.

I don't check the clock frequently, and never have... But it just seems that when I look up, the time is one of these!  I've even sat up in bed, looked at the clock and it was 4:44, more than once.

This last weekend, I had a very emotionally intense reunion with some old friends. It brought me some closure I'd been seeking for 11years.  I walked in the door after walking our friends to their car, and our stove and microwave both said 4:44.  And the micro is usually 1 min faster.  And, my husband was supposed to set these to daylight savings, and he forgot.  The whole thing was a beautiful accident.

I got goosebumps.  I knew that was a message to really savor and be grateful for that moment.

I meditated that night.  Meditation is new to me and the message that i got was "we are not our physical bodies".  I'm going to explore this.

I had one amazing experience a few years ago.  I was deep asleep and I sat up in bed as the sun was coming up.  I felt it filling our room with light.  I was filled with the overwhelming feeling that we were all connected.  That at that moment, I was connected to everything, including that sun.  It was the most spiritual awakening I have ever had.  I knew that if I could open my eyes, "they" ("the universe") had so much to show me.  I pictured my ego as the wall blocking me from myself.  And if I lowered that wall, I would be allowed to see things in a different realm, be clairvoyant or ?  I'm thinking that my guides are trying to reach me, but my racing mind, fear and that ego are in the way.

I still ask myself if I want to "know"... Should I take this red pill...

I've had other things happen... Panic attacks the night before natural disasters etc.

That's where I am... I know there's something to all of this.  I'd love to get some answers before I let it all in

Welcome.

That's a pretty good first message. We are indeed not our physical bodies. We are spirit/soul in a physical container. That's why we survive death, because we already are, what we will be when we lose the physical body.

Hello and a big welcome to our board, Georgia!
I throughly loved your first post. My first prompt number wasn't 11:11 either. It was my own birthday 7:11 which is something they showed ame a rediculous amount of times on this one day. I believe our celestial friends adjust sometimes... perhaps because of the thickness of our skulls ( I am talking about myself here ) So maybe they may have used the number 12:12 too as it was a special one for you too because of your precious dog. I am so sorry you had to experience his loss. Those are difficult days aren't they? But I comfort myself with the strong feeling that I will see my dear pets again too. Honestly my dogs taught me more about unconditional love than I ever learned sitting in church.

Hello and welcome!

It's good you're starting meditation, keep on going! When I started to meditate, "strange" things started happening to me, too, and though I'm not meditating on a regular basis as of the moment, those occurrences still keep happening! I believe that once you open yourself you never really close off completely again. I hope you continue to have good experiences with your practice.
