When you go to the National Rail website (you can try this out yourself at nationalrail.co.uk ), you type in where you are departing from, and where you're going to, and then click GO, and it shows you the next several trains. It obviously doesn't show you the ones you've already missed, an hour ago. 'Normally.'
I just sat down and typed in the two stations, clicked GO, and it showed me a train half an hour ago, which of COURSE I don't need to tell you was . . . 11:11.
What could I do but chuckle and then click 'Later Trains.'
