Hello, I am so glad I found this place!

Post by rainmaker »

Hello!

Wow I am so glad I found this place, I thought I was going nuts with this 11:11 stuff, it is nice to see that I am not alone!

Where to begin... I guess I'll try and be brief, and maybe you good folks can help me understand this phenomenon. My mother, when I was a child, would often see 11:11 on the clock. I remember her remarking to me all the time "oh look, 11:11 again". She passed away in 1996. A few years ago, it started happening to me. At first I saw 9:11 VERY frequently, which was a bit disturbing from the bad memories of those numbers. Then I started with the 11:11. I see this... ALL the time. Far too often to be coincidence. I was explaining to someone... it's not like I sit there waiting for the numbers to appear, or glance and think "oh it's almost 11:11", it just happens... I go to look at the clock, and there it is.

Nowadays I see a lot of 11's and 4's, and multiples of 11, 88, 99 etc. And I've started seeing 1111 in places other than the clock... the number of messages in my inbox for example one day I glanced, was 1,111 (yeah I needed to clean out my email). A lot of different occasions I will see it on the computer. Also, I read about how sometimes street lights will turn off for people that see this... when I read that, I was quite shocked because this happens to me ALL the time. Driving along a dark suburban street, I look up, a light goes off. Not broken or flickering either, it will be working fine until I am close, then turns off.

Tonight I came to post this because of this... I couldn't get my stupid printer to work, so I removed the print cartridge and injected some more ink... fiddled with it a bit, and finally got it working again. I printed a self-test report page on the printer. Then I glanced at the clock, oh hello 11:11. Then I glanced at the test page. I see this:

Total Page Count: 1111

O_O

I mean, what are the chances of that happening? Is this just crazy coincidence? Someone explain this to me.

Thanks,

Colin

Hello Rainmaker,
I enjoyed your post. Welcome back! It sounds like you are getting a lot of number prompts. I especially loved the printer prompt. That's a great one! I must say, I understand your frustration in the sometimes tricky business of refilling ink cartridges and getting all the components working properly. Been there and done that. :? I also am a bit slow cleaning out the ole inbox too. I suspect my inbox number would be far worse than yours and not nearly so profound. ;)

But anyway, I am glad you've hopped on board and look forward to hearing more about your experiences. These URLs may provide a little help as you continue your search for the answers to the number prompts.

Hi again,

Thanks for the info, I will do some homework. :) Thanks for the welcome back... I posted here a long time ago and then didn't think too much about the prompting until you see amazing things like that from the printer, 1111 pages at 11:11pm... awesome. :) I will start to explore the topics and techniques discussed on this site and see if I can figure out what these guys want from me.

Thanks,

Colin.

Hey rainmaker :hithere

i miss this website soo much, i have been gone for like half a year lol. your story is hilarious, its cheered me up today. i've been getting bombarded with time prompts and synchronicities today, like i felt like u when u were getting bombarded with 1111. it was like everywhere i looked i seen a time prompt. even when i paused a song on my ipod, when i took the train , and when i just got off of the phone with my brother, the call duration was a time prompt. i was really in a down mood this whole week due to upcoming finals and other troubles, im guessing it was the angels telling me that they got my back and even though i was scared because i think too negative, i heard gentle voices telling me that it'll be ok. ahh i had to share that lol, welcome to the site! you will enjoy it here. :D

This site is lovely... if I understand the meaning behind all of this correctly then I can see why everyone is nice, what a joy. :) I told these guys last night that I hear them and asked them to tell me more, I also said to them "you may examine my thoughts if you wish". I might give some of the meditation a try and see what happens, looks interesting. I have a lot of reading to do... I'm sure I'll learn a lot more as I go. Paintboxx, haha, I know that feeling, some days, like yesterday... and I believe the last time I visited here were days where you just have prompting that goes beyond coincidence. I think the first time I came here I had 3 or 4 in quick succession in the same day, I was freaking out, lol. :)

Cheers,

Colin.

Great stories! I get small white feathers. I got one this morning. It's like these feathers come right in front of me to make sure I see them. I always say thank you.

Hey Colin! :hithere

Yeah.. everyone really is so nice here. I think about it all the time because it's really unbelievable. I've never found a community like this where I truly never felt afraid to be myself. Unfortunately, in my personal life outside of this board, I am all too used to a lot of negativity and immaturity and really haven't met any individuals or communities who have received me and given to me with such unconditional love and respect as I have here. You are welcome here with open arms and I'd love to keep hearing from you as you "do your homework"...I think we're all working on that! :study: :study: :study: Oh, also, you told them "you may examine my thoughts if you wish"... I basically did the same thing a little while ago and I believe it has been a highly rewarding decision/request..albeit entailing a great sense of responsibility sometimes!

Nice to meet you Paintboxx :hithere
I noticed you were saying about even being prompted when you pause the song on your music player... that happens to me ALL the time! And you have undying support here, my friend, when you need it.

EDIT: Oh and congrats on the math test!! YE YE :bana: :bike: :bana: :bike: :bana: :bike:

Love all

Hi everybody,
Paintboxx, it is good to hear your tests are behind you and you did well especially on the math ... :thumright:

I have been getting a lot of progress prompts...you know 1234 and 222 kind of thing...even when I don't feel very progressive. Like yesterday when we went out to do our shopping. I had sort of been off kilter for some reason all morning and when we arrived in the Aldi's parking lot a very sad sight presented itself. Construction had taken out the row of mature trees where we always parked our car. It may seem funny to some ears but I felt a strange kind of kinship with those trees. I felt something anyway, not sure what exactly and now there is a big void. It was just too much for a moment and I had to collect myself but as we were walking in I saw the two afore mentioned number prompts and I felt a smidgeon better. I suppose enlarging an already swollen shopping mall would be considered progress in some people's eyes... More jobs more selection...yet... for this lonely little lady, at that moment, it felt anything but progress. I am beginning to understand the empathic feelings for all life that I have always had around me... yet in this world it can also be a source that can bring you down if you allow it. Hmm maybe in the understanding there is progress. Anyway, I am grateful for the beauty I still see as I view those cherished trees in my mind. So are they really gone? Or maybe perhaps their energy lives on... a part of all those they touched, human and animal alike, who took shelter in the shade and elegance of their being.

Colin, what interesting prompts! I found it fascinating that they turned the same number inside out for you. 8) I am glad you are feeling at home here. We try very hard to keep it a gentle place where sensitive people..all people in reality, can post and interact in peace and yet still progress and find answers. ..share discoveries and lives.
It takes all of us, all the members who post, to make it work but I like to think each adds a part of themselves that makes this place home.
Happy meditating! :sunflower:
Love,
Sandy
