Just when I thought it had stopped...

I continue to be amazed. The prompts for me had slowed down, whereas they used to be very frequent.

I had been preparing for the YouTube Symphony Orchestra competition and recently submitted my online audition. For the past week, I have been checking my email to see if I was going to be a potential finalist or alternate that the public would get to vote on. (All expenses paid trip to Australia to perform in the Sydney Opera House under Michael Tilson Thomas with musicians from all over the world!)\
I hardly slept last night. I hardly had any confidence and kept telling myself that I'd be alright and there are so many good players who tried out this year.

Well, I got the email today..about 5 hours ago, that I was either a finalist or alternate for my particular instrument. I was absolutely stunned and shocked.

After taking some time out with my family today, I came home and decided to re-read the email and about fell out of my chair. Here is a safe excerpt:

Thank you all so much! I did find out that I made the FINAL round! My video is up on the website now and people can vote once a day through Dec.17.
