Don't get frustrated...sometimes I think they just give us a break...maybe they're busy with other things and feel you've been promted enough for the moment to continue looking for your path.
When I am feeling spiritually "stuck" I go to the bookstore and inevitably a book is somewhere it shouldn't be and jumps right out at me..."Hey! I was just thinking about that!" or it draws me to it (one time it was a pretty cover that kept calling me back).
Another trick I use is pull out a bunch of my spiritual books...plop them down on my bed and ask the angels to guide me to the one I need to read. I "feel" my way to the book they are guiding me to, hold the book and ask them to guide me to the page I need to read. (I am probably in a light meditative state when I do this; I try to feel my chakras balanced and energy flowing in exchange with universal energy). OH! And I ALWAYS say 'THANK YOU', feeling genuinely thankful KNOWING (even before I open the book) that they have given me what I need.
They ALWAYS give me just what I need.
It can feel a bit lonely when you aren't being "directed" spiritually. But I think that is the ultimate goal...is to find it from within yourself rather than RELY on them to kick you in the butt on a constant basis. (I'm not there yet
)
Another thing you could try is walking around in "a bubble of love". A bubble so big that you genuinely emit love to everyone around you - even to the person in front of you in the grocery line that's being a complete idiot.
That's actually fun to do. If you can fill yourself literally to overflowing with the feeling of happiness and love, feel it pouring out of you in all directions...go out in public...people actually do double takes...like they sense it!
Gotta pull yourself out of the doldrums doll! It's hard sometimes, but try the trick I mentioned above...when you can get yourself to that point it becomes a vicious (well bad word, maybe wonderful) circle...the
response you get from emitting such love makes you feel even bigger with love and happiness. (I should try harder to remember this
)
