14:04 - 15:05 and 17:07 .......

Dear Brothers and Sisters.

Lately, my fiance and I have been experiencing some distancing, because of the spiritual gap between us. It is a long story, but I can reveal this; When i first saw him - I saw his God potential, so strong - although he was not aware at that time.

We have had three conversations about this, each time ending with: 14:04 - 15:05 and 17:07

We finally came to an agreement, resulting in him atleast considering the spirituality in which we live. He has a few problems with the name God...... but has already recognized the energy and the healing gift of love.

Can anyone shed a light?, because I am sure this is very important related to our spiritual development. It will be greatly appreciated.

Dear Malla,

If you read the book a Different Drum, M Scott Peck postulates that each of us is supposed to follow a definable spiritual path. We start with hand-me-down religions or beliefs, progress into total questioning, and agnosticism or even atheism, and then we should be able to push through into mysticism. Now the sad thing is many people stop along the way. Either fear or laziness. You certainly are into mysticism, he presumably is somewhat behind. Hopefully he has the desire and energy to find his way through.
