well you know a little class never hurt anyone. Don't think I can't slouch around too in the old suit. I have worn one 5 days a week for 10 years now so actually I am just as comfortable in a suit as I would be in swets and a hoddie (I love hoodies!)

Hello everyone,,,
Just thought I'd pop in the link and you can see the Island I live on,,,well just the map of it....

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&ge ... 16&t=h&z=7

I got it off the 'google' map place....(I'm getting better at this computer thing)

the Island is about 500 KM long from the southern tip in Victoria, to the almost northern end Port Hardy....

and only 155 km wide at the only point where we can go across the island to get to the wild west coast ocean at a place called "Long Beach"

so the earth quake was about 200 km off the northwest point of the island
and quite deep,,,,,which is probably why we didn't feel it,,,,but I imagine that those up around Port Hardy felt it....

I think the two earth plates that meet are called the Cascadia plates,,,and there is some sort of a connecting line that goes through the middle of the island

two sub continents rubbing up agains each other....the the fault line as most of us 'west coasters' know about,,,,runs right down the west coast
(it does actually run through the island then it goes down the coast of the USA.......fault lines know NO borders,,,,

and you just never know what one little wiggle can do.....the last time (not too long ago either,,,,within the last 6 mo) we had another 'shift',,,but it was felt inland in the US.....

apparently back in the 1700's there was a 'shift' but no earthquake,,,which resulted in a tsunami and almost wiped out Japan.
they called it an 'orphan'...

so for the heck of it I just googled Cascadia fault line,,,,and learned alot.

or not,,,,,one article said it started up in Alaska and another said it started right under Vancouver over on the mainland....???????

anyway,,,looking at the maps was interesting,,,,

there's no sense in worrying about it if one has decided to live on a precarious 'edge' of things,,,,,,,just be prepared and 'ready to help',,,

I must say though that there have been several people in our 'group' who have had a few disturbing 'dreams' myself included....

which tells us something.....be prepared.....or move.....

personally I think we're all just where we're supposed to be....and seeing the way things can and do happen,,,,I have also discovered,,,,if it's not your time you just won't be there.....

meanwhile,,,at every case lot sale,,,,I buy a few more cases of this and that....(which is always good when winter is looming anyway) keep non-perishable things on hand, stock up on candles and toilet paper.....there is nothing worse when the power goes out.....if you can't get to town after a storm.... which reminds me..... to replace my generator with a turn key start.....

we do have a good neighbour system though,,,,and look out for each other,,,,often our neighbour just comes up the driveway in his tractor and plows it for us.....but I don't go anywhere if the roads are icy,,,,

heck there's lots of times when I'm out here for a couple of weeks without going into town anyway.....

Lily/June
I'm glad that you were able to do such a service going to Thailand,,,if it stuns us who are not there,,,,I can't imagine the impact that you felt while being there,,,,but isn't it truly amazing,,,,that 'afterwards' I think the people are just so grateful to be alive,,,,that they just keep smiling...

perhaps that's a big AH HA,,,moment for them....

I thought that was awesome that you'd actually been to Victoria,,,and it's the Butchart Gardens that you went to....(pronounced Booshart),,if you heard the story about it,,,,,it started with one woman's dream and she transformed a rock quarry over her lifetime....quite incredible really...one womans 'vision' of restoring mother nature after it being raped and pillaged by progress....

When my Aunt and cousins were here in 04,,,we went to the opening night....(they close for the winter),,,,and it was an awesome revisit,,,the fireworks display was incredible,,,,which is always the draw on that day,,,and they do have a closing event with fireworks too...

but it's so commercialized now,,,,it's almost a 'pain' to go to it....at any time.... then through the summer they have fireworks every weekend...which can be seen from certain places across the water,,,it's located on what's called the Saanich penninsula,,,,so the bay inbetween goes across to the main part of the island,,,,from which there are several points where it can be seen from....quite nice too...

Thanks everyone for keeping us here in your thoughts and prayers...
I appreciate it....and that's so funny Lily/June you getting all those peacock prompts.....

so let's keep Mother Earth in our prayers too....

AJ I love Mikayla's photo,,,,she's just singing her song...so joyfully...

you're new 'suit' pic just shows the light shining through you....I'm glad I don't have to 'dress' for the job anymore....the only suit Allan ever wore was a military uniform except he opted for civies when we got married..

love and light to you all.....

(Pet,,,,, if you have your feet up on the table I hope you have your shoes off.....there's a free foot massage for those with no socks on...)

love and light to everyone.

LilyJune ...

Somewhere in my photos I may have a picture of the pond. I'll see if I can find one and scan it for you. That was MANY years ago, and even the photo I have would be from a visit back many years later. My mother might have some from that time.

Thank you for the compliment on my writing. I've only "picked" at writing, and the only thing that ever came close to "professional" was my self-published book "A Way of Walking; An Introduction to Native American Spirituality and Philosophy."

I love to write, but I've never had much of an audience. Us artists aren't always motivated without some kind of feedback. Some can create and create without the slightest comment from anyone. I'm one of those ones that does his work for others, not myself, so a reaction is part of the process. I'm hoping to become a part of a t.v. production company later this year so I can exercise my writing more.

For the heck of it, I uploaded another page with another story. A 30-year friend of mine was skeptical of my writing abilities, so I spent some time writing about HIM just to see what he thought. I lost interest in finishing it, but he was entertained by the fact that he was the subject.

It's based on a real incident where that very nice, calm, conservative and even sweet banker ended up pulling a gun on his brother-in-law. People can be "pushed" beyond their ability to control themselves, and that's what happened to him.

http://www.voicenet.com/~sweet/push.htm

Maybe someday I'll finish it. I have several other unfinished ones as well!! *laugh*

Say hello to Mathilda, Thalia, and Maddy....

You got it Pet,,,,

Rosemary is my favourite,,,,,and I'll bet it grows where you live too???

I even make an infused Rosemary oil myself,,,,very simple,,,,and am about to make some more....

I love the smell of the fresh though best of all,,,,I run my hands over the plant when I go outside,,,,then rub it over my clothes....

also the twigs (after you remove the leaves) are great thrown on the BBQ coals.....

so three drops it is,,,,on each foot....

Hi pp,
I've got Rosemary and Lavender growing..... run my hands through it too and put a sprig in my hair sometimes.....if I'm not going out anywhere. They are both so nice. I love my foot roller and ball with all things sticking out of it to massage the feet.... I love the fragrance of the Port Wine Magnolia, when the window is open it wafts into the house.

Hi guys, I am a basil girl myself. Love to smell the stuff. We have basil, and parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme WHIST (loved that song) chives and spearmint. Oh and some comfrey. (I don't have a clue what to do with that  ) PP I would love to know how you make your infused rosemary oil. My rosemary plant is getting long and leggy and was wondering if I should be cutting it back. Will I kill it or make it more bushy you think if I do that? I've never grown it before and it has gotten very woody.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's memories from their childhood. What a special group of people you are. :D

Sandy

Hi Sandy,,,Comfrey is one of those 'beneficial to the bones' plants,,,it's good for knitting broken bones,,,by making a poultice out of the leaves,,,some use the root in some inscect repellent recipies,,,and some even drink a tea from a water infusion, but you do have to be careful with that,,,,however if used externally,,,it's fine...

your rosemary sounds like it needs a 'grooming',,,,and I'd probably suggest to wait till you see some new growth,,,,so you know it's putting energy into it's leaves,,,,then you can actually cut the plant back quite severely......they say.....every branch can go back to 1/3 of it's length. if it's already growing new,,,,just go ahead....and have fun...

so it depends how big the plant is actually,,,, or you could look at the main stock,,,,and start by pruning off some of the side branches,,,sort of like giving it a thinning hair cut....after you've got alot of the side branches off then you can stand back and look at it and imagine how big you want it to look,,,and cut it back,,,,,probably don't go any lower than where any growth is starting that's for sure....or you'll be buying a new plant....

then you'll have all these rosemary branches,,,, and to make the best infusion,,,,,,take the leaves off the stalks,,,,hold it by the end (top) of the branch and run your fingers down the opposite way the leaves grow..and they'll come off pretty good......or have fun picking every needle off...you can also just cut the whole piece to size for whatever bottle you're using and bundle the whole stocks together and stuff them into the bottle,,,,,when it looks like the bottle is full,,,just keep pushing stocks in untill you can squeeze another one into the bottle,,,

pack it into a steralized dry jar (depends on how much of it you have), but when the jars are full (I like the large size pickle jars) then slowly fill it with a good olive oil,,,,extra virgin is really good, especially if you want to use it on your body,,,,or in your bath......regular olive oil is a bit too thick and heavy....

then take a piece of cloth that will breathe (I use a gauze small guage (sp),,,,so dust doesn't get in it)..... and put it over the top you can secure it with an elastic band.....then sit it in the sun,,,,and every day or so turn the jar.....for a good 6 - 8 weeks.... (that's the easy part)

if you want to make it double strong,,,,,then you could do another cut on the rosemary bush,,,,,if you didn't take it down too much the first time,
but you'd need the same amt of rosemary....

after a month of daily turning,,,,you strain it and let it drip strain if you can for a good day....so you get all the oil off....

then put your new leaves/needles/or stalks... back into the same bottle,,,and refill it with the oil you strained off and let it sit another month...

you can do the same thing with your sage, thyme and basil too...

(although I actually like to dry basil very slowly in the micro wave,,,10 second increments,,,,everytime stirring it around abit...
it comes out smelling soooooo good and basil spicey....just love it...otherwise I air dry everything,,,,in a shady place,,,out of the wind...or you can put it into a paper bag and let it sit a week or two till it's dry...)

back to the infused oil.......then when you go to bottle it.....you can use it when you want....I usually do some tarragon and oregano/marjoram too,,,, then you've got lovely oil infused herbs which is excellent for cooking.... and rosemary makes an excellent massage oil,,,,great for sore tired muscles,,,,,if you find it's actually a bit strong for direct body use,,,,then just dilute a small amount of it with a bit more oil...

so back to 'cutting back your plant' Sandy,,,,,if going back to 1/3 of the plant takes you into the woody area,,,don't go that far back...make sure you've still got a good 6 inches at least of the growng plant left on it....and where ever you cut a piece off,,,,,it will usually sprout two new shoots on either side of the cut...that's how you get anything to bush out....

wish I could see it

but I tell you what,,,,,a while ago there was a series of books out called.

(whatever) for Dummies,,,,,,and I just pulled my "Herb Gardening for Dummies off my shelf for a quick reference....it's funny too...

and right across the top it says,,,
The fun and easy way to grow parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme...

so it sounds like a book for you....and it is quite 'excellent'...

so just 'thin' it first,,,,don't cut off any main stalks,,,,trim side branches then look at it and remember where you cut the main branches down to it will sprout two more branches......

this year I only picked a large ziplock baggie full of lavender tops,,,and those you pick before they open up....and got two small bottles of oil...but that's enough of lavender for me.....and I only picked enough for one small bottle of St. John's Wort - the wild type....the large flowered St. Johns Wort isn't medicinal...

so I just realized ok,,,what do we call small or large.....

well,,,canning jars.....the quart size would be large,,,,and the pint sizes would be small..... and you can use any jars you have....

any other questions,,,,fire away....

oh,,,one last point to remember....use only good,,,green,,,,healthy looking needles,,,or leaves....pick off chewed ones,,,or any going brown.

hope that helps,,,,you budding gardener you :D :D

Hi Lilly,,,,,
I too think pots work best for stuff like basil,,,,in my garden I get slugs,,,I'd much prefer the snails,,,,,do they have a hard shell???

if you guys are in nice cool spring weather then it's time to start,,,,
get out your pruning shears and start cutting off any old dead wood and enjoy the new coming in......

and aren't you guys lucky.....here I am facing a cold autumn and likely an even colder winter.....if Allan wasn't here,,,I'd head to AU for 6 months.....

I've heard just recently that it's very difficult to move to AU permanently now.....but a warm visit would suit me fine...

I met someone the other day I haven't seen in a long time,,,and she's going to AU for her grand daughters wedding....and she'd like to stay...but she can't....(which is actually a good thing for the grand daughter)  (Did I say that  ).....OK enough of that,,,,but I've seen this woman really hurt her family....I'll have to send her love.....from a great distance.....

well, we have the sun out today,,,,,amazing....perhaps we'll have a 'pleasant fall'.....

loves to everyone...

Hello Dear Friends LUV2,

I've been following along with all your posts on this thread this past month, but haven't gotten up much energy to post myself, let alone do the classic detailed "Aqua-Deb style" responses to everyone yet  (though I'd sure like to! :D) I hadn't realized just how much the move exhausted both of us, and how long it takes to recover fully and establish a new equilibrium! Even now, a month later, I am still sleeping 8 to 10 hours a night, then frequently falling asleep for a couple of hours in the afternoons as well! I keep catching myself thinking that I ought to be fully rested, reorganized, and much more productive by now (that persistent "inner pusher" voice ), but then at one point, I looked back through my journal and realized that we somehow managed to condense the entire moving process, from start to finish, including all the boxing/packing and unpacking, as well as making 4 separate trips between the two destinations (a 4.5 hour drive each way) with a 5th drive one-way to arrive here for good, into just 6-and-a-half weeks! So now I can see how it might legitimately take a while to recover! With Ron's mobility problems, I pretty much did all the packing and heavy lifting and car-loading and cleaning single-handedly as well (but he did all the driving back and forth, including those scary high-traffic portions through San Francisco, thank goodness! :D)

Sandy, you mentioned your difficulties with packing for trips when you and George traveled by train to see Geoff, and I had to laugh at that, because I'm exactly the same way, an over-packer, trying to anticipate every possible eventuality -- I was up until 2:30am to 4am on each of the nights before our trips back and forth, trying to creatively fit as much into the car as possible each time! No wonder I worked up a sleep deficit!

I'm also not one to ask for help (one of the things I have the most trouble with, I'll admit ), and just kept bull-headedly pushing ahead on my own, until finally, Ron, feeling badly that he couldn't be of more help, convinced me to let him call a friend of ours (the one very kindred spirit we encountered in the year we lived in that area, who quickly became a dear friend), who lived just down the street, to come and help me haul away the extra trash and stuff to donate to the local thrift shop, and to help clean up the house for its final inspection. Even though I hadn't wanted to burden anyone else by asking them to help, this friend was actually delighted to be asked :happy, as it turned out, and I found myself so very grateful for his help (and probably so badly needed it, even though it didn't occur to me to notice that or ask at the time ), that I haven't been able to think about him since without crying. :happy :happy :happy He is an extraordinary being anyway, a great and beautiful soul, who has been experiencing a miraculous degree of healing from HIV this past year, and is becoming a powerful healer in his own right -- it's been an amazing process and an honor to witness. :colors: We're planning for him to come and visit us here soon, sometime this fall; we've already discovered some great restaurants and other places of interest that we want to take him to. On the phone the other day, he gently and shyly admitted that, even though he would never, ever want to say anything even that might sound the least bit critical because he loves us so much :happy, he felt it was important to use a little bit of "tough love," and let me know, "Debbie, you really were exhausted!" and that it seemed to him that I'd pushed myself a bit too hard. Ron, of course, had been telling me the same thing all along. When you start getting the same feedback from more than one place, you know there's something important to pay attention to there, and looking back on it, I have to admit, I do think they're right , and I'll have to think about what I can learn from the whole experience and how I can modify my process next time around!

I'd write longer, but I see that it's already after midnight here, so I'd better cut it off here for now. Just once since we got here, a couple nights ago when I couldn't sleep, I managed to get into my AC and just decided to be still in there and meditate and continue my recuperation process, and I was touched, PP, that the continuous healing circle you recently called together spontaneously showed up right there in my AC! :happy You were sitting on my left side, and we were all sitting in a big circle holding hands and meditating together. Very cool! :colors: Thank you all for that support!

I haven't gotten back to doing art yet either, though we've attended various local festivals and art shows around town, visited local gift shops and art galleries, and seen lots of popular local sights, so my mind is filling up with all sorts of images that are percolating in there, to come bursting out into artwork whenever the time is right! :colors: Ron emailed one popular gift shop in Santa Cruz with pictures of our artwork and even though they're full right now, they said our work was "beautiful" and expressed potential future interest in scarves if we'd put Santa Cruz imagery on them, so that's promising! :D

Well, okay, enough for tonight! Hopefully I'll be able to post and get a bit more caught up (though completely catching up is probably not too likely at this point ) soon!

Lots of love to you all LUV2,
Aqua Deb

Hi Everyone,

Aqua Deb, I was just wondering how you were getting along. :D Good to see you, sis, and I am happy to hear that you are still taking it slow and easy. It sounds like you had a tough six week ordeal. God bless your dear friend who readily agreed to help you all out. Definitely an earth angel that man! :happy
Your art is beautiful! Glad the Santa Cruz shop recognized that very obvious fact! I don't think you will have any difficulty in finding shops to display your beautiful work. :thumright:

Your AC experience made my heart sing! :happy I love the idea that we are all working together with Spirit. Would you consider writing it up for the Akashic Construct list for George? I know... here you are talking about how tired you are and I am asking you to do extra work. Well, think about it anyway, okay? :)

Thank you PP for the good advice on pruning my poor little ignored rosemary plant. I'll take a good look at it tomorrow with what you suggested in mind. I think I will try making some of the infused rosemary oil. It sounds simple enough. hmmm I have lots of thyme right now too (another favorite) Do you think it would be nice in an oil? My basil hasn't liked the cool weather so it is looking a bit sad may snip a few springs and try to root them in a vase for replanting later on.

Lilly, I have battled both slugs and snails in my garden for months. I was shocked... I never knew what havoc they could cause. I always liked them though, must admit I stll do, especially the snails. They are so cute. evil  but cute.
I bet Phoneix will be happy to get to go outside and explore with you. I have been watching our neighbor's young cat explore our back yard. He wears the cutest red colar with a bell so the birds are in no danger but he is doing his very best to rid the yard of all the bugs he encounters. The little darlin. :cat:

Hi nav, jump right in where ever you want. As you may have noticed, we discuss just about everything here.

Love you guys, :loves

Dear AquaDeb,
Yes you take that well deserved and needed rest,,,just exactly when your body tells you too…
6 1/2 weeks YIKES …..no wonder you still need rests in the afternoon….and doing the heavy stuff too…
So now I can see how it might legitimately take a while to recover!
Isn’t it odd that we even have to give ourselves ‘permission’…..

Now I just deleted my next (unseen) 3 paragraphs,,,cuz as I read more of Debbies post everything was answered……(hence read the post first pp before I start yakking…)
he felt it was important to use a little bit of "tough love," and let me know, "Debbie, you really were exhausted!" and that it seemed to him that I'd pushed myself a bit too hard.

I think the basic rule,,,we all forget Deb,,,,is that we need to ‘receive’ as well as to ‘give’….

Just learn how to say “Oh thanks,,,I appreciate the help” and not…..Oh thanks,,but I can do it myself…

(and if you don't learn to do it now,,,,your going to have a heck of a time trying to learn it when you're my age!!! - so do it now...)xoxo
a couple nights ago when I couldn't sleep, I managed to get into my AC and just decided to be still in there and meditate and continue my recuperation process, and I was touched, PP, that the continuous healing circle you recently called together spontaneously showed up right there in my AC! You were sitting on my left side, and we were all sitting in a big circle holding hands and meditating together.
WOW !!!! how great Deb,,,,thanks for telling us about that,,,,I am continually amazed to know my "higher self" ..... I"m stuck for words..
   maybe that's just it...I'm getting to know my higher self.
Your AC experience made my heart sing!
- mine too...

thanks for that,,,,you brought me some recognition of my 'self'.... :love
and expressed potential future interest in scarves if we'd put Santa Cruz imagery on them, so that's promising!
now you know what that is don't you..... ""time"" to get some Santa Cruz stuff done....by the time you get them ready,,,they'll be ready to receive them.... GO GIRL GO !! and don't forget to rest...

SANDY,
yes,,,,yes,,,,and yes,,,, your thyme will be wonderful in an oil,,,,just think,,anything you'd put a herb in to cook with,,,you can use a little oil...

we usually saute 'whatever' in oil,,,,,and an herb based oil is soooo fragrant....just 'experiment',,, do you cook pasta to put a sauce on???
as you're cooking the pasta,,,just add a tbsp of infused oil....

if you can put a few sprigs of basil in water to root,,,,then you can just put them in a pot,,,and they'll grow.....

take your cutting,,(about 4 inches if you can),,leave about an inch of stalk just below the last two leaves......then remove the last two leaves and where they came off,,,plant it deep enough in the soil to cover up the spot where the two leaves were,,,,,it will send out shoots to grow with from there.... then stick it in a sunny window....when it comes out with 4 more new sets of leaves,,,,pinch out the growing centre part,,,and it will bush for you....

on to cats now...

during the last couple of days when Allan was home (so he got to see it)
our Wild Cat (her new name 'wildcat') she wasn't responding to anything else... anyway,,,she comes up on the deck to where I put out food for her....then she walks around to the front and sits about 6-10 feet away from the glass sliding doors....well the other day,,,the screen door was in operation...and our 'fatcat' sebastian,,,noticed her and walked to the screen door.....she walked up to the screen door and sat down....hissed at him,,,then layed down with her nose almost touching the screen door.
so I think they conversed for awhile......I think she's beginning to realize,,,hey,,,those guys are 'inside' and I'm out here.....whats up with that!!!!!,,,,,time will tell that story...

OK my lovely family,,,,I've just gone over my 'allotted' morning computer time.....and I need to make up some bags of smudge to take in for healing night...and have to leave in a couple of hrs...
Actually, had someone call yesterday and make an appt for today for an Ion Wave Treatment....coool...

loves to you all..

Hi pp,
My friend has a cat named Jennifer Wildcat...Lol Phoenix is going in for desexing hopefully this week or early next week.
My Mum and brother are still sick with the flu...it's very nasty. I'll have to go over and see what I can do to help out.
My partner bought me a dvd called The Illuminated Chakras....by Anodea Judith....it's really nice, an open eyed meditation.....also a beautiful cd called Sanctum Sanctuorium by Constance Demby. We meditated last night whilst listening to it..... I've had something happening where the top of my head feels like it's moving about....and buzzing in the ears for a couple of seconds at a time....as my fear dissolves I'm able to go deeper and not feel resistance...my brother has been meditating and seeking the midwayers......with results too....he goes on a different site. I told Mum to ask Dr Mendoza to come and help them both.
You're a wonderful teacher....thanks for being there dear friend.
George, Geoff, Simon, Sandy and all the others behind the scenes...thankyou for your work.
Love lilly xxx

Hi Lilly,
yes that dvd by anodea judith is just great we watch it in class alot..
can't seem to get tired of it...of course how could one...since it does an automatic balancing of the chakras for you...so if you feel crown chakra activity it's probably opening and clearing for you....

hope your mum and bro get feeling better...

Thanks for the basil growing tip PP...so what you are saying is that I can by pass the rooting in water completely? That would be nice and probably easier on the young plant. :thumright:

Hi Lilly... I pray your mom and brother feel better soon. That old flu bug is especially tough on the elderly and littlies.

You're welcome! :) ..and from my perspective I thank you too... You see every one of you who contribute with your experience, knowledge, comfort, and love are doing 'work" too. and Wow!..What an inspiration you all are to me!...I am learning, just like a wide eyed baby every day. :D

So, many thanks to all of you who contribute to the ongoing efforts to share the love and spread the light both on the board and in the world around you...

Hi Dear Friends LUV2,

Just another not-so-quick post to continue the process of catching up!  I'm still recovering from the move, though my moods now finally seem to be stabilizing and remaining generally more positive. For a while during and after the move, I went through more-extreme-than-normal mood swings and experienced many more phases of negative thinking than usual as well. Like I said earlier, Gypsie Deb, I could really relate to what you said about your experience with moving! The process really can "knock us for a loop" a lot more than we might expect! And then, of course, with that negative "self-judger" voice so prevalent at the time, I was also "beating myself up" for not keeping the Law of Attraction more firmly in mind and not being more positive! It's sure a relief when we start coming back out of phases like that! :colors:

Lilly, thanks for your comments -- you're a beautiful person too, and I always enjoy all the details you write about your meditation experiences, the visits of your grandchildren, your gardening, cooking and pets, and so on. :happy I love how our connection to the Divine is inherent and can be easily felt in all of the daily details of life! :D I hope your mom and brother start feeling better soon!

By the way, I also enjoyed seeing that lovely avvie of you singing "back in the day" that you put up a while back! I notice and appreciate these types of things even when I don't get around to posting about them for large periods of time! :D

Sandy, thanks for your encouraging comments on my art; it really helps right now, since my resistance to doing art (gosh, it seems I've had at least some resistance to just about everything lately, doesn't it! ), which I'd managed to make a lot of progress toward overcoming for a while in Monte Rio, strengthened again when I took this big break from it to do the move, so it's now taking more energy to break through it and really get started again.

Yes, I'd be glad to write up my group-meditation experience in the AC for the Akashic Construct list for George -- I'll send it along before too long. :D My first thought was, "Well, it wasn't really that long, though." However, I have no doubt that I can add sufficient details to make it long enough; that's something I've never had trouble with in the past!

In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, I think it'd be great for everyone who's been setting up and participating in this healing circle who feels so inclined to write down and share their experiences often, so that we can all get a bigger picture of what all goes on when we put forth a group intention like this, and how it develops over time. :D One thing I thought was cool about this experience is that, as you pointed out, PP, our higher selves do seem to often make decisions and have communications with each other that we aren't even always consciously aware of, and that's really interesting to see -- and as you said, it helps us keep learning about our higher selves.

For example, I had not yet officially stated an intention to join this circle, and my ego was still "on the fence" about it, since I'm generally still so resistant to meditating (and still rarely get around to doing it, even after all this time  ) that I wasn't sure how helpful a contributor I'd be able to be on a consistent enough basis. However, several days ago when I asked the I Ching about meditation, they said that I am now reaching a point where enough inner obstructions and conflicting voices are getting resolved that success which had previously been blocked is now beginning to become possible. They also said, regarding me joining the ongoing healing circle, that even though I may feel inadequate, I can in fact accomplish a great deal, so I got the impression it might in fact be a good idea regardless. And besides, to tell the truth, among the few times I have meditated, there have been some truly amazing experiences -- but the ego just seems to defy logic and conveniently forget about those!

At any rate, that night when I couldn't sleep and went into my AC, I was also not feeling great emotionally, so I finally just generally asked for help when I first went in there (which, as I said, I have trouble doing -- I think it stems back to issues from my childhood  -- but as you said, PP, it is really important to learn to receive as well as to give :happy ), and then, immediately, as I said, you all showed up! :colors:

And I noted that I wasn't just sitting in the middle of the circle with you all sitting around me or anything, but I was immediately and automatically part of the circle, holding hands with you all. So it seems that perhaps my higher self already made the decision for me to join in the circle, even though my ego was being wishy-washy! And it seems that, just by having the intention to be there in the circle, all of your higher selves heard my request for help even though I didn't ask anyone in particular or ask specifically to be put in the healing circle. :D These kinds of details about our processes are very interesting to note! :colors:

Well, okay, I imagine that's quite enough for one post! I hope to be back again soon to continue this catching-up process! :D

Much love to all LUV2,
Aqua Deb
