Angel saved me & my toddler from death!

This happened on Christmas Eve 2009 & this 3rd time that I was SURE divine
intervention saved me, my 2.5 year old girl Zara was with me....which makes it
that much more serious.
I was playing with Zara and her motorized Jeep in our neighbourhood streets and
saw one of the neighbours FLY his damn Honda Accord out of the subdivision..probably to
get some supplies. I thought to myself that that guy is going WAAY too fast within the subdivision.

When we were passing through the street he came out from, Zara was driving her Jeep, I was walking along with it. She decided to get out of the Jeep and go check out flowers & some other nothingness...
The Jeep was just inside the turn of where the guy had come out from. So, if he came back in that way at that speed, he wouldn't see us in time to stop before it was too late. This possibility didn't occur to me.

Later, I was asking Zara to get back in the Jeep and keep driving toward my house but
she wouldn't listen, then in about a minute, I had a sudden deep FEAR set it,
anguish as well. So, I firmly grabbed her Jeep by one hand & lifted her by the other &
moved us over to the sidewalk. In seconds, that bloody Honda FLIES back right in
through our position on the street.
If we had still be there, it would've been over.

I was speechless!

The time prior to that when divine intervention occurred (& I was sure of it) was
my SUV accident in 2006 when I "just happened" to look in the mirror again &
saw an 18-wheeler truck carrying a bulldozer (60-80 tons total) barrelling down
behind my stationary SUV & decided to get out of its way as far as I could.
The vehicle was totalled but I came out unscathed. Others in the car broke bones.
How do I know it was divine intervention? I had already looked into the mirror &
turned my head to check my rear - & it was clear so I took that lane in the traffic jam. Yet, just the same way that the midwayers make us look at the clock,
I'm sure that in the same way, they made me look into my side-mirror *again* to
notice the truck that had emerged from the fog bank.

The time before that was with my sister, my cousin & Mum as I drove down from Toronto to North Carolina after another cousin's wedding & the partying we did
for 3 days. It was late in the night & I had hardly slept for 3 days and so was VERY
tired & sleepy but have always been the designated driver.
At some point, I put my car on cruise control at 70mph and then....fell asleep at
the wheel.
Next thing...my Mum shouted my *knickname* that SHE calls me by, I woke up
with a jolt and saw that the road was turning & my Honda was about to fly-off
the highway into a ravine the next second. So, I grabbed the wheel, struggled to
get it back in my lane and slowed the car down -sweating while it was freezing
outside.
When I looked behind to see the status of my Mum & sis, THAT's when Mum woke
up & asked me "What happened?" I said "Uh...nothing, go back to sleep."
I was once again...speechless. I was more awed at the divinity of the incident
than I was about the accident that could've occurred.
The voice had been in my head not in my ears & I remember it distinctly as being
Mom's voice with the knickname SHE called me by. I related this story to a
spiritual master & she told me it was likely Mom's guardian spirit/angel that woke
me up from imminent death of 4 people at my hands.

Dear Kenz, I can relate with you there. I've had so many near-misses, I'm starting to think They don't want me 'up there' with them .
Thankfully my children pay attention to bad feelings too. Even the ol' doubting Thomas Phil, (husband) listened to a loud warning in his head to run up an embankment seconds before a car came careering towards where he had moments before stood. I've shared my experiences often enough though,

good to hear from you.
(Hope you still don't think I have an "agenda" coz I never did & won't. )

I am VERY VERY happy to hear that your kids respond to their feelings.
Clearly, this is good parental training on your part & perhaps on the part of Thomas Phil as well.
That is a very close-call & I'm quite glad that he listened to his warning or lives would've been changed.

In the west, we are so acclimated to suppressing our feelings, except perhaps in marital circles (& even then.)
no wonder the society is a-miss (a mess?) to recognizing the small voice within.
We always talk about our feelings, but never those that are of a higher order.
If we did, people start looking at us like we were nuts.
This board is such a great relief to talk about something that is larger than Oneself than our
mundane cubicle-clad lives, something that has greater importance to be focused upon
rather than One's 8 hrs at the job....Something that tugs our heart like a child to it's mother for nurturing & recognition.
