Continual

Post any poetry here. It's just too hard to define "inspired" in this context, so we will settle for that which inspires.

Continual

desires run through me
and disappear
confidence and knowing
quells momentary fear
like waves of the ocean
that rise and dissipate
lifes ever motion
does the universe communicate
some days i sit in solitude
free to roam in wonder
and do i see the whispers
and desires of others
never fully present
but somethings still here
other days the present
liberates the tears
and in the conquering of the nights sky
does the mind truly wander
before the eye awakens
in bodies routine slumber
observing these dreams
from planetary space
does the clock crawl backwards
and spurn the perpetual race
Fear grips when Love falls short of Infinity

That's beautiful Eric...
I see you against the backdrop of the starry universe when I read this poem. I wish I had the skill to paint what I see in my mind's eye.

Well thank you Sandy.

I think you paint the image well, many of us here recognize that and are drawn to your words.

Thanks for replying in my discovery thread too. I haven't heard from Suna since receiving her name, but God continues to send his whispers in unique ways.

I used to forget about the whispers and not be attuned to what is all around us all the time...I believe it was you who introduced me to the beauty of some of the tiniest of God's creatures and revelling in the simplicity of a spring day by the bayou that has me seeing and feeling the creator's hand whenever I walk quietly in the forest near my sons home. :love
