Nova's Footprints

Earlier in the week my boss handed me a small slip of pink paper imprinted with Clementine's baby sister's foot prints. Having no meaning for her, she asked if I wanted them. I thought, "Surely you jest!"

Nova's Footprints
September 21, 2018

Nova's footprints,
two of the very first of millions upon millions left in this life.

My dream for you is...
the rest will carry and lead to your most treasured and blissful places.

Whether that path lies
in shrouded valleys, precipice of mountains, or to the most distant star.

These are uniquely yours,
only yours, not a single match in all the universes.

Although, oh so small,
their impression immediately welcomed into love-filled hearts.

These are Nova's footprints,
The very first of millions upon millions left in this life.

Kim, that is so beautiful and heart warming. Have you shared this poem with your boss?
Thank you for the inspiring message.

Thanks Eric!
You know I didn't even think to share this poem with her. In a week though this one and several others will be shared with many. There is an event in town where dozens of artisans in the area come together to showcase their talents. The writers group I belong to does readings in the library. We hang our poems from the trees in town and invite others to create their own adding them to our roaming 'Poetree'. One of our members has an extraordinary baritone voice and wanders through the crowd reciting poems to whomever will listen.

I got tiny little goosebumps to match Nova's tiny little feet as I read this special poem. It's Wonderful!
I'm happy to hear that soon others will get to hear it in such a fun event. :bana:
love,
Sandy

Kim,
That's awesome, the baritone voice reciting poetry through out the town. A part of me just wonders what your bosses reaction might be when you give her the footprints back with the poem. I think your writing is beautiful.

Sandy,
I love when the spirit sends goosebumps or chills up and down the spine. I think there's a real connection being made there.

Wishing my spiritual family a lovely night.
Peace ~

Good night or rather good morning, Eric and Northern-Hemi friends. It is my turn to say good night as that big ole beautiful moon rises high in the sky. Hope you all have wonderful days!
