HOW TO BE A POET (to remind myself).by Wendell Berry

Post any poetry here. It's just too hard to define "inspired" in this context, so we will settle for that which inspires.

HOW TO BE A POET (to remind myself).by Wendell Berry

I found this post in my DailyGood email subscription so that's what I'm linking. They are syndicating a Maria Popova (BrainPickings) offering in which she embeds an audio of Wendell Berry reading his poem, HOW TO BE A POET (to remind myself).

This is a beautiful poem that you can read or listen to with the soul of the author in your ears. In the article you'll also find links to other columns by Maria such as "Why Pride and Despair Are the Two Great Enemies of Creative Work".

This one made me smile with delight. I loved hearing the author's voice as well, although t wasn't what I expected.
Thanks Welles. You sure know how to pick em. :D
love,
Sandy
