Phasing out of Form

Ageless oceans, ageless night,
Whirling from the depths unseen.
I saw you struggle to be,
A moment of liberty.

I see your essence – full of stars –
Energy of the moonlit air.
Too bad you long to be erased,
I could watch you from anywhere.

Timeless morning, timeless sea,
Drawn down by the unbound dawn.
You are the sole purity,
The lone being I can see.

I feel you presence – full of warmth –
Fermenting in the morning air.
Your desire to be left alone
Is clearly what I call despair.

Endless pattern, endless form,
Brought forth from the dawn and dusk.
I see you fixed on reverse,
And I know not what is worse.

I know your existence – veiled worth –
Virtues founded in hidden sky.
You believed you could disappear,
But here again is my reply.

This poem moved me. I dunno why but I felt like crying but checked myself!

Did you write it yourself?

All of the poems I have ever posted on here are ones I have written.

dear me... I remember reading this a while back Arthur, and meant to come back and ask some questions but then forgot... It is truly beautiful in a sorrowful kind of way. Could you explain what is behind it? Does it speak of greater universe reality or is it part of the epic and a character's reflection? As always you allow me to think a little deeper...stretch my brain a little with your writings. This is so appreciated. :D
Love,
Sandy

I don't remember the specifics, but it was written to the tune of "Perfection?", from Guilt Machine, which was one of Arjen Lucassen's projects.
