Note: My sister sent me this poem today. It is beautiful. I know nothing about the author and am taking the liberty of sharing it anyway.
Transforming emotions to love...
To transform all that we hold
Whether it is anger, hate, sadness
Happiness or any other emotion
To see it with honestly in the mirror
Embrace it for what it is
Rather than what we want it to be
To see it truly in the reflection
To use the ego, solar plexus
The gateway to the sun
And rather than to project it
Or to become the emotion
Take it into the heart
Embrace it with love
Love is to accept
To understand anything into the whole
To see it purpose and the true learning to be taught
To live it out through the heart
With love
Love is sometimes soft
Other times as a sword that cuts through the lie
Sometimes like a stop sign not to pass
Or understanding where no one else is given
Love hold all reflections
May transform any emotion into purpose
Make any color pure
When we turn it to others
Empathy and compassion arises
We become a living heart
To reach out into the world
Honest and true
Sometimes soft, sometimes hard
Sometimes light, sometimes dark
Always true
Connecting with the deeper purpose
