Watching My Friend Pretend Her Heart Isn't Breaking — by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer

Post any poetry here. It's just too hard to define "inspired" in this context, so we will settle for that which inspires.

Watching My Friend Pretend Her Heart Isn't Breaking — by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer

Post by Welles »

Here's the first little bit...
On Earth, just a teaspoon of neutron star
would weigh six billion tons. Six billion tons
equals the collective weight of every animal
on earth. Including the insects. Times three.
I was rather amazed by this poem and am linking the page on which I discovered it because it also links a little video of the author reading it.

Hi Welles.
This simple poem hits home and really made me think...

I definitely recommend the short video as the writer reads her words. It is special.
