Even nutrient dense foods (like fruits) that can cause unwanted glycemic response
can be moderated with smaller portions, the goal being to limit a meal's carbohydrates
to reduce that meal's glycemic response. A personal glucometer can help achieve control
and eventually make such control more intuitive with less testing.
