Question on types of death

Post by crluvearth »

I just finished reading the section covering life after death and mainly references "natural" death. My nephew recently committed suicide and I am really needing some answers on what happens when someone committs suicide. Is this the same as rejecting eternal life/God?

Thank you,
Cindy

Dear Cindy,

No its not taken as a rational choice. My sister suicided, and she is still "alive". Suicide is however a very bad way to go, and can take many years to recover, because essentially a lot of mental "rework" is required.

love,
Geoff

Thank you for your reassurance Geoff. I hate to have my Faith waver but this is still a new journey and much to learn and lots to grow. The Urantia Book is so inspiring and comforting but not all I read is easily comprehensible to me. I imagine much goes over my head and things are missed.

It brings me comfort to know he is getting the help he needs although it's still sad to see him go in such a tragic way, and so young. Sorry to hear your sister had a similar journey!

Thank you again!
Cindy
