Yep i'm feeling all better! In fact, i feel ten times better than i did prior to getting sick. :bana: :bana: Those antibiotics worked like a charm.

It is very, very hot today :x :meds: I want to go to the beach but i'd have to bus it there. And it's too hot for that! It's about 37 degrees.. i've got the air conditioner cranking and fans in every room.. my cat Coco is really annoyed by the heat i think.. he just lies there panting and spreading his legs to try and get cool  He has plenty of water, but he is wearing a fur coat after all so must be even hotter than i am :bomb I worry about him a bit when i see him really panting hard.

Love you guys

So glad to hear! I hate taking medicine, but sometimes you have no choice!
37 degrees huh? (Yikes, that's hot!) Well I wish I could go to the beach! It's about 37 degrees here - but 37 degrees fahrenheit! lol. That's like...what...3 degrees C? lol
No swimming outside for me!

Hello beautifu people, and hi lovely Kendra! :bana:

Yes it's getting extremely hot.. soon we could be looking at even hotter temperatures.. that's what i dread... the days on end of 40+ degrees. Especially when i get the bus to work and i'm all hot and bothered by the time i get there. Then i want to go home already! :meds: :sword:  There are some really smelly people around as well.. :sorry: Especially on the bus! In summer i miss my coats and boots, and when it's really hot, i take three ice cold showers a day to stay cool... and have the air conditioning and fans on.. i'd like a steady 27 degrees or so.. all year round :bana:

I am so happy to be home right now :bana: :bana: Last night i had my work christmas function, so i didn't get home until 11ish.. It was sooo fantastic... it was a gourmet buffet place.. in the casino.. so amazing! Everything from lamb to tandoori chicken, prawns and mussels, all kinds of salad and fruit, cold meats, cheese, beef in oyster sauce (my favourite), curry etc etc, and the dessert buffet! There were at least twenty different types of cake and at least as many flavours of ice cream.. i didn't even bother with a dessert dish, i grabbed a soup bowl and starting loading up   Then we all went to a little irish pub and i was happy because they made me daiquiri's. But anyhoooo, i'm glad to be home because i was out last night and soooo tired today, with a little headache, and couldn't wait to get home, sprawl on my couch and turn on cable. I'm relieved, i got through it rather well considering  Thought i might have to pull a sicky for sure due to lack of sleep! ;) I'll definitely be going back to that gourmet buffet.. they even had a chocolate fountain :bike:

Has anyone finished their christmas shopping? I haven't started :meds: I'm so broke after having to fork out for the bond on my new place, and the increased rent, cable installation etc. I have to wait until pay day, and i hate the crowds of last minute shopping. So stressful and claustrophobic!

Oh, Star, that sounds so yummy!!! I haven't started my shopping. I try to do a lot of it on the internet because I despise waiting in lines, etc. I usually can get it done in one trip. I, too, am broke! But, it always seems to be there when I really need it!

Hi everyone! How is your weekend? :bana:

I'm winding it down now, arghhhh. It's been good though, last night my boyfriend and i went to see Paranormal Activity at the movies.. we saw it in the HalfPipe, which is a cinema with huge beanbags instead of chairs. It was great... sooo hot though. Luckily we managed to get a taxi there and back. Discovered the best little pizza place at my local shopping centre... sooo. much. cheese  i wish i could stop chowing down on the cheese, it doesn't seem to do my stomach any good.

Today i would have liked to go for a swim but it was just so hot i couldn't be bothered trekking it to the beach. 37 degrees :meds: too hot for anything except cold showers. Sometimes i wish i was six years old again so i could strip down to my knickers and run through the sprinklers!!! I hear we're looking at 45 for boxing day.... :( :meds: Even though i got up at 12, i feel like i could use a little nap :roll The heat makes me too tired.

Tonight i'm going to relax and watch a movie on cable, Domestic Disturbance with John Travolta  He is one of my favourite actors. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend too. Praying for a cooler day tomorrow.

I sometimes forget that where you are the seasons are different and you all acually have summer right now and we are having winter. Also, not used to measuring temperature in Celcius so to me 45 seems rather cool  . Anyway up here in the good old South Eastern USA we usually stay around 100 F during July and August! Sometimes we pray for a little snow. :(

Hi :hithere
Yep, very hot christmases here. I think i'd find snow at christmas mind-boggling. It's very very hot in summer (december, jan, feb). The only time i love it is when i'm in the water, swimming to my hearts content.. love it.. I have no idea what things are in farenheit ;) But i believe 35 degrees celsius is about 110? I could be wayyyyyy off the money.

Today i got my pay packet (i get paid monthly and this is my last pay before christmas- and i haven't bought any presents yet) and work short-paid me by $500!!! I got really angry because the finance director (who does the pays) is on annual leave now. I felt like throwing a fit after i phoned the bank. Luckily my mum is going to help me out a bit (the bond for this place cleaned me out). It was very upsetting at the time though, needing the money for christmas and all.
*sigh* I could do with sleeping in tomorrow.. found it so hard to get up this morning, i was just like arrrgh bed so comfy. And of course then i look over at my boyfriend, snoring away, and i feel so tired and jealous! :grrr

Hello Everyone!!!

I have just been waiting for 2010 to start. Doesn't that sound great twenty-ten,,,,,not 2 thousand and nine..

I don't really know why,,,,there were some very bright spots during 09,,,but most of it just seemed like 'hard work', and upset after upset, health issues, it seemed that everyday there was something else to concentrate on and 'clear',,,,it was a personal hard working year,,,

hmmmm,,mind you it was a wonderful summer till I let the inner child out to play and hurt myself,,,,and it ain't better yet :grrr ,, I cannot spend hrs on the computer like I used to,,,I haven't been on long tonight and my fingers are numbing out.,,,,

wver tried to type with nuimb figers....we needa spell checkerhere andinwouldn;'t waste so ;much time..see what i mean...

and I was just so glad to get through Nov and Dec without 2-4 feet of snow like last year.

whatever,,,,we just went into Dec 31st....so HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE EVERYONE....

AND A HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEMAWLAURA.....

Lilly dear,,,

there's no Gingerbread women,,,because we haven't been making them.....yours are probably the first !!!!! Cooooel!!

I probably won't be writing tomorrow,,,,or for a couple of days,,,,

so BLESS EVERYONES HEARTS....

Happy New Year everyone! PP, I do hope you're on the mend. In my "circle" of family and friends, 2009 wasn't such a great year. But, I have high hopes that 2010 will be fantastic! How's that for positive thinking? By the way, again last night I was awakened out of a sound sleep only to glance at the clock....2:22! I'm sure you all know what a great feeling that is! I have read The Secret and loved it. I agree with you Geoff that this is not a new...fact(?). However, many souls need guidance to get out of their materialistic, negative thoughts. This and other books assist them in gaining knowledge. It helps them to find the way.

I don't recall the authors of these - I have memorized them.

Heya Gypsie... :hithere

I was so hoping you got the email cause I knew from George you were having troubles getting on the board. Been thinking of you and figuring with two teenage boys you were busy, busy, busy but still worrying a bit about your health too. Did you have a good January? Guess Billy and Jack are back in school now getting deep into the ever increasing homework and difficult subjects.
I haven't looked at the prayer section yet Debs...but did you post for Drew there.too? ..I'll pray for the dear man..Must have been quite a shock to him and his family. :(

It was a bit hectic getting back in the swing of things after my time in the U.S and I am ashamed to admit, I somehow lost track of this thread....but I must say... Manifestations I rolled in the floor just now when I read some of those book titles and this last quote!

I love it and it's wisdom...So let's all get out there and Live, Love, and Laugh despite the little bumps in the road!! Image Whaa whoo!!!

Yeah, the Secret Coffee shop is looking a bit dusty and gloomy! Time to open all the windows and start cooking, baking or whatever takes yer fancy!

Hello Gypsie, I knew you were a bit busy from fb...good ol' facebook. Thalia persuaded me to open an account for her as all of her mates have been encouraging her to. She's forgotten all of their surnames and will just have to wait when school starts in March. She's now friends with Kim and her daughter. I am a tad worried though and she's never to accept people she doesn't know as friends. Oh, I'm not going to be paranoid about it; she's a sensible girl and shares a lot with me. She's growing up fast...hormonal zits and all.
Hahahaha! I didn't realise that I was typing aloud, and she heard from the kitchen and bellowed: "Who are you telling that to?" and I answered, "everyone in the looniverse, if they've a mind to be on the 11:11MB!!"

The weather's still freezing...well, if you call 10°C freezing? The kid's are off school and will be pony riding during activities. Hopefully this time Manny won't get bored again and YEEHARR his pony off to a gallop towards the main road, LOL! with Thalia's pony in hot pursuit after his pony.
I'm writing a blog after years of friends & family telling me to and I must say, I'm enjoying it. If anyone's innerested................ Wow, years and years of lack of self confidence and look at me now! Inviting all and sundry to read about my childhood. I'm not elaborating on the bad moments, mostly all the funny bits like when I "snubbed" The Queen.

OK, nuff said. I hope everyone is fine and content with their lot today and every day and remember what Manifestation quoted:
All that we are is what we have thought.
In my case, a rotund spotty little porker, hahahahahahahahaha! Where's my bacon and cheese toastie gone?

Ok Garnier is maybe closer to the spelling LOL  I am hopeless they have had so many things my twins it's like a medical jurnal. Basically for someone who can spell it's a bug picked up in the bowl, usually from someone who had been to a country with unhealthy water, mind you Bondi Beach wasn't looking to clean on the TV last night. So it's a fairly serious bowl bug :alien: which causes tthe bathroom to become home. Poor lad the worst thing was we all had to take 4 huge horse size tablets YUCK just in case. It does feel great to be back and as always it's just like coming home, I have so much reading to catch up on. Wingsie passing brought me straight back pronto and I do feel so so sad when deep down I know she is in wonder exploring her new home. Gosh she was just so pretty :sunflower: like a flower on a spring morning, kimdness oozed from her

Well my beauties Harry has put an air con in the bedroom for me so I am off to do some AC and just see where it takes me today....

Love to all of you my sisters and brothers :finger: :love :finger: I am sorry life got hectic but as Sandy said school has returned  the boys are growing so fast like Tahia, Billy has developed pimples all over his face and Jack is finally thinking about trying to loose his weight. Yep, Pet remember when they were little? How fast it passes the boys are taller than me now!!! I'd love to read your blog how do I find it, you are such a great story teller Petra I'll never forget Mr Horns but don't think I've heard the Queen story, can't wait to read it...you just have a nack for making people laugh with the way you write, who know Pet one day you really could write a book.

With Light she has moved up the mountain and it's really difficult to get things to work in the middle of the forest, which drives her crazy :duh I'll send her everyone's love next time we get reception.....
