Hah! Whose birthday is it? Peculiarly I have three friends who had birthdays today (August 17). One of them is named Marandi. I've known her for her whole life and watched her turn into a wonderful professional musician.

Haven't been here for a little while so I missed all your best wishes for which I am truly grateful.
59 now, got a whole year to get to terms with the next one is my 60th!!

Just realized my 60th is in a few days!
I've spent the last month teasing my husband about turning 60, now it's my turn. Well, nothing I can do about it right? Might as well, My niece is really into astrology, sent a text asking if I realized my birthday was on a full moon. I said no, what does that mean for me? She replied, "The moon is in Aquarius, is currently conjunct your moon(?!), encouraging friendliness and partying." 
That really made me laugh! Guess turning the big 6, 0,doesn't mean life is over as we know it.

Looks like I will soon have company in "the sixties club".
Honestly though, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. There are definitely some perks for reaching that number. Actually Shane, just think of the savings on train/bus tickets.
I can get a seniors opal card now and travel the train/bus all day for a mere $2.60 or something like that. (I keep forgetting to sign up
