Dear Welles,
Having read Braiding Sweetgrass a few months ago I share your sentiment of Robin Wall Kimmerer. Thank you for the reminder of reciprocity and the wisdom of her ancestors, "Only take what is given." Her gentle, poetic wisdom, sharing of her journey to reclaim her heritage, has a way of cementing itself to our thoughts.
