Happy Birthday Sandy!

Hey I did make an image for Sandy's Birthday but it was a sort of newsletter. The wild turkeys were back behind my house this morning wandering around eating the seeds so I made something out of it for Sandy. It's a pdf.

Welles, I am still chuckling. :sunflower: :bana: :loves Those are the actual wild turkeys you saw out back?
Very cool.

It is midday on my actual birthday here. It's been a quiet one as usual. Maybe this "old turkey" should spice it up and get a little "wild "this year... :roll ;)
nah...quiet is good for me.... ;)
Love you all...thank you!

Yep. Two adults and six youngsters. They are old enough to fly up into the redwood branches and go over our fences. Actually there is another wild flock of about twenty or so who roam around our neck of the woods. Our nearest neighbor feeds them and we all sort of look out for them. Fortunately you seldom see them near any real road just a gravel drive and a tiny asphalt road that mostly allows two cars to pass, especially when one driver pulls over to let the other go by. Nobody hunts them except maybe the mountain lions who are rare in our immediate area because of too many fences. Their turf is the large open reserves all around us. Maybe bob cats might hunt them but the adults turkeys are rather daunting for them I would think. Besides they are very alert and strong flyers in short bursts.
