What an exciting article, Dylan! Thank you for sharing it. I am still trying to wrap my head around...was it quarks? (The particles that pop in and out of existence in pairs. I've said it before and I'll say it again, ...Despite the troubles, we live in exciting times.

Doesn't the Ubook say something about what humans have often called "the nothingness of space"? I believe it may be called the domain of the Unqualified Absolute, which I believe and please correct me if I'm wrong, is God matter which flows from nether Paradise, indicating that these seemingly empty places are alive with Source presence. :bana:

That’s a good interpretation of the U Book’s lesson, Sandy. I think of space, metaphorically, as the warp upon which the woof of material creation is woven. We’re all just woofs on the warp, or warped woofs. Woof woof. :D

I used Dylan’s link (thank you for that) on my forum because it is interesting. Here’s how I tried to stimulate the readers into clicking the link...

Why does the universe exist? Physicists have found the answer and it will blow your mind

Um, well not exactly. Physicists are getting closer to recognizing some of the essential aspects of material reality. The theories and points of view they present are fascinating...

“Nobel prize winner Frank Wilczek of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who specialises is quantum chromodynamics, the theory that describes how quarks behave deep within atomic nuclei, has found that the universe simply doesn’t like a state of nothingness.

Something – existence – seems far preferable.

He said: “You can form a state that has no quarks and antiquarks in it, and it’s totally unstable.

“It spontaneously starts producing quark-antiquark pairs.”
...
Victor Stenger, a physicist at the University of Colorado in Boulder added: “Something is the more natural state than nothing.

“According to quantum theory, there is no state of ’emptiness’,”

Professor Wilczek added: “There is no barrier between nothing and a rich universe full of matter.

“Perhaps the big bang was just nothingness doing what comes naturally”

Many quantum physicists have even drawn the conclusion that nothingness itself cannot exist.

Alan Guth, a cosmologist at MIT who came up with the inflation theory 30 years ago said: “I like to say that the universe is the ultimate free lunch. Maybe a better way of saying it is that something IS nothing.”

Hi Welles,
I like your warp and woofs explanation. It sounds very "Star Trekie", a show I cut my teeth on as a kid. :bana: Well, that and "Lost in Space"
I'm still feeling a bit quirky even today as such an article really brings home the "amazingness" (a boring word for something so much more) of our universe and it's "Designer."
I am thinking just what awesome things these God particles can do with us if we can learn to use them as the "Designer" intended. Maybe that is what the Bible meant when it says faith can move mountains. Some people are theorizing that it is these particles which contribute mightily to manifesting.
We've got so much to learn...well so much I doubt we will ever be able to say that we know everything there is to know either here in mortal form or in the far reaches of eternity. ...And who would really want that anyway. :bana:

love,
Sandy

Here are my thoughts on this whole thing:

a. We live in the evolutionary universes of time and space. We are constantly moving along the dimension of time (the arrow of time) (The 3d space we perceive is a subset of a greater 7d space.)
b. The watchwords of the evolving time-space creations are: 'progress', 'expansion', and 'evolution'. Therefore nothing is the antithesis of the time-space creations. Therefore there is a constant pressure for motion, transformation, and change. Therefore the divine habit is to quickly replace the nothing with something (particles), because this serves the divine purpose.
c. When I observe the experience of being human, I perceive, that I am constantly being "shoved" into the consecutive moment, as a component of creation, as the divine will is being fulfilled in me, very much like those quarks and anti-quarks are being "shoved" into the space of nothing. I feel that the greater the space of nothingness/stillness I create within myself, the faster and with more energy and vibrancy I am pushed into and become aware of the consecutive moment.

Hoping that wasn't too much gibberish, Dylan

Actually I thought it was very lucid, Dylan, but then I too pondered the nature and structure of the universe for a good portion of my life. It is a worthwhile pursuit in my estimation and one rarely chosen.

 Okay, my head is spinning just a little bit trying to understand but that's okay and it is good for me to contemplate such things.

Have a good week end!
Love to all you awesome people,
Sandy
