I like the answer. If you are moved to speak from a place of stillness, maybe then the offering will be more valid. But assuming spiritual superiority is ugly and narcissistic. Jesus said that if you are truly practicing what you preach, then people will be drawn to you naturally by the fruits of the spirit.

However I remember The Boy Who Was Afraid incident, where Jesus perceived the need of a young man, and tried several ways of approach before making a connection, and then proceeded to assist him in TRUTH.
