More on this story from the New York Library that is archiving the stuffed animals...
"The REAL Winnie-the-Pooh won't be found on a video, in a movie, on a T-shirt, or a lunchbox. Since 1987, the REAL Pooh and four of his best friends—Eeyore, Piglet, Kanga, and Tigger—have been living at The New York Public Library."

Re: Winnie-the-Pooh History
Perfect!!!! A great way for this Winnie the Pooh enthusiast to begin her day. LOL I have never seen the real animals before. I was going to say "stuffed animals" but they were such a big part of my childhood a little part of me always wants to believe they are real. I still have the book, "A House At Pooh Corners" with me today as it was one of my treasured books I brought with me to Australia. And to this day I can't look at a stretch of beautiful forested land and not think of the hundred Acre woods. Thank you Welles...
