just reading your latest entry, why does our country downplay it while other countries take more apparently aggressive and extreme measures?

why does our country downplay it while other countries take more apparently aggressive and extreme measures?
This reminds me of my experience with my friend in Finland, a trained homeopathic health expert (even had her own patients).
The U.S. would never permit that kind of medical practice, especially with no "scientifc evidence" to prove the benefits.

:idea: But desperate people needing a cure will go wherever a cure is promised, sometimes at whatever cost!
Hopefully, current attempts to prove colloidal silver will finally reveal "scientific evidence". :finger:
(proving prevention - for any disease - would be a great first step!)

yeah there's a lot of propaganda right now, political moves to be made, 'strategic' positioning... as for preventative measures, there's nothing wrong with antivirals, whether that's over the counter or natural food remedies- do what feels right where being prepared is concerned. don't let anyone tell you otherwise either. this earth is a provider and there are affordable solutions. as for the colloidal silver, i took the nano silver as soon as i started feeling upper respiratory symptoms. i do feel better but have also upped my immunity boosting with various foods, probiotics, vitamins and moderate exercise. i did purchase the nano silver as a response to fear from the initial announcements of the virus, the celestial message here was my green light. and if i haven't said it earlier, just because i feel it's working doesn't mean i'm going to throw myself in harms way(referencing your suggesting people taking silver assist those infected). lol
good luck, this is an economic crisis as much as it is a health issue.

"US hospitals are preparing for 96 MILLION coronavirus infections and nearly HALF A MILLION deaths"
"4.8 million will be hospitalized"

:idea: Actually, a very low percentage of deaths expected, relative to population;
however EXPENSIVE hospitalization for the 4.8 million :!:

Bottom line (still): Just another flu, albeit more contagious because fewer people have immunity (some must have immunity because they
either do not contract the virus or defeat it with their own immune system, whether or not symptoms appear). 8)

:idea: Apparently, we need only ride out the economic storm for the rest of the year, with a possible short-term quarantine squeeze on lifestyle ...
and the caveat that people (especially men) over 60 and/or have existing medical problems may have a rougher ride. :roll:

Bottom line (of my bottom): Nano silver will be avoided until I know how the MANY millions of people avoid disease without it ...
and until I know just how much silver (a non-nutritional metal) the body can safely accumulate.

:study: Re: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/dr-marc ... s-seasonal

"The idea that many respiratory viruses (including influenza and other coronaviruses) follow a seasonal pattern is not a new one. It is based on the theory, believed by many virologists, that respiratory viruses travel farther on a cough or a sneeze in cold dry air than they do with hotter more humid weather where the water in the air causes the droplets to drop down to the ground."

"(re: Covid-19) a virus that is far more contagious, if less deadly, than was SARS."

:idea: "causes the droplets to drop down" hints that breathing contaminated air is more problematic than touching an infected surface
(and disinfectant spray of the ground and floor may help "defuse" the fallen droplets). :finger:

"Why this virus is different"

"The spread of the new coronavirus has been compared to influenza, which also causes a respiratory illness. But, as the panelists pointed out, there are no drugs or vaccines yet for treating or preventing the virus, known as SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), as there are for flu. In addition, we are exposed to different flu strains throughout our lives, which help us build immunity. No one had immunity to this new virus." :o

:idea: While the flu and Covid-19 cause respiratory problems, they are caused by distinctly different viruses
(effectively explaining the need for quarantine). ;)

:scratch: However, if not immunity, then what explains how some people have no symptoms;
and suggests that ACE2 receptors/mechanism are the key to intensity of symptoms :?:

I was unfamiliar with "diffuser" but found one online that included nabis oil ("can nabis oil").
The sets of oils don't include nabis and the oils are in little bottles - not cans. :scratch:

:study: Epidemic Update 12: Unsupported Theories
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT3_A1bf9pU

:idea: Discussion of ACE2 receptors (lower in lungs) and possibility that smoking is more related to number of ACE2 receptors than race or gender.

This discussion also suggests that many people contract the virus but their immune system gains control quickly ... and faster than the virus can replicate after cell entry via the ACE2 receptors. That some people have more ACE2 receptors hints that this can overwhelm the immune response (virus replicates faster because it has entered more cells). The even greater immune response then may explain the serious inflammmation and fluid buildup causing pneumonia.
