Re: "Humans have never seen this snake-associated virus before and have no internal defense against it." (online comment)

Many people (under 60) are recovering from this virus with no or only mild symptoms.
Their immune systems (and/or state of health) hold important secrets ... apparently.
The secret may be an immune system that responds quickly and vigorously (fever, inflammation, etc.)
then steps back to prevent fluid accumulation in the lungs.
... and the number of ACE2 receptors in the lungs (how the virus gets into cells)
seems directly related to the immune response intensity.

"Medicines taken by millions of people with high blood pressure and diabetes could raise the risk of deadly coronavirus symptoms"
"ACE inhibitors and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) may change the shape of someone's cells in a way
that makes it easier for the coronavirus to infect them and cause a more severe illness."

These ACE drugs, taken by diabetics and heart patients, may explain
why diabetics and heart patients are more susceptible to Covid-19 ...
and have even worse symptoms if over 60 years of age!
