Solar farms are more practical and less destructive to home roofing.
A home owner would invest in the farm to receive the energy benefits,
since there are ways to measure electricity added to "the grid".

Methinks that this is where the technology is going: if you even think of a product (or touch it or stare at it) while in the store, you bought it ... "in less than 300 milliseconds". But it's good to know that we'll have "three or four seconds" longer to shop.

At first, having a cart or hand basket that kept a current total of your selections seemed convenient,
but then, knowing that total cost as you shop, might limit how much you spend.
