 The greater disconnect with these children is that Greta does not live (literally) in the shadow of a powerful world leader.
But a future Barron + Greta merger would be intriguing world busyness.

"He helped himself to a part of my body."

 His later apology hints that he meant to help himself, but aimed too low - he wanted to give her an "Attagirl!" slap on the back ...
but even this is no longer permitted between men and women who are strangers in today's society :!:

Besides, the filming of the event (and later broadcast) mandated a response from this reporter ...
who would not have witnessed who slapped her. ;)

 Such a bizarre (handwritten) notice :!:
What does "sitting on phone" mean? A misspelling?
And 10 min. doesn't permit a Charmin's "Enjoy the go!" ;)

A Cow Cape could be a unisex item (for humans), but should be renamed
since "Cow Cape" is not really a term of endearment for a woman ...
and neither is "Bull Cape" a term of endearment for a man.

"Iskra Lawrence has revealed that she will not be publicly announcing the sex of her new baby
as the infant’s gender at birth may not reflect 'who my child decides to be' in the future."

 It's so confusing in this modern era! Sexual identity is a choice ...
with no time limit (apparently) on making that choice.

 Who knew that evolution put the cart before the horse!

 Water alone does seem to hydrate food better, but the actual consumer is usually the master
of what goes in their pie hole. Besides, in the royal wigwams the same tea pee probably exits.

;) Re: https://www.foxnews.com/us/package-thie ... k-you-note

"So just a quick little thank you for leaving me the opportunity of stealing your package. Very nice of you. Thank you"

 A taunt - not Thank You, but society should thank this thief for writing
"for leaving me the opportunity of stealing" because this explains the problem :!:

 While customers contractually agree that they effectively accept a package when it's delivered to their property, in reality they have not
accepted the package until they (or approved person) accept the package. This suggests that the merchandise provider or its agent (shipping)
is still liable until the package is accepted by a person (or their agent).

Since some delivery services notfiy the homeowner by email or text when a package is delivered, only response to that notice should acknowledge that the homeowner is now taking responsibility for the package. Otherwise the merchandise provider or its agent (shipping) is still liable. ;)

"if women ran every nation in the world,
there would be 'significant improvements across the board on just about everything.'" :o

 However, this morning's reflection is not about male/female equality:
Evolution appears to have paired male and female for significant reasons.
With many genders now, shouldn't every gender have an ideal "pair mate" :?:

Is evolution not about pairing (at least to perpetuate the species) :?:
... and to provide nurturing family for the new births? ;)

Porch thieves can follow drones to their next package, conveniently left for them.

Re: https://www.foxnews.com/us/package-thie ... k-you-note

 New technology can do this, apparently. :finger:
(inexpensive motion detectors already exist)

Homeowner installs a detector (networked to house security system and/or cell phone)
that creates a delivery zone for packages. The delivery person activates the zone
when a package is left in it. Thereafter, removal of the package causes an alarm
(homeowner would deactivate detector to remove package). ;)

 More concept ...
Detector activates via package's electronic tag inside package wrapping.
Thereafter, removal of package from the zone activates the alarm. 8)

 More about a Package Zone Alarm (PZA) ...

This could even be a self-contained unit (alarm, battery, electronics)
that is mounted above the package zone. The electronics would need
to accept a package (via electronic tag), monitor its presence and
sound the alarm if the package leaves the zone.

The PZA might be reset manually and/or via WiFi communication. 8)

:study: More about faux meat ...

From the AARP Bulletin, December 2019
"The Truth About Meat in Your Diet", p. 33, by Clint Carter

"The products are highly processed, and processed foods have been implicated in all sorts of health problems
... meat alternatives are better for the environmental impact alone, but nothing will beat whole plant foods." ;)

 Bottom line (IMO) ...
An occasional faux meat burger is probably safe - enjoy! :roll
But a daily faux feast may decrease your health and longevity ...
especially if the faux feast is sans whole plant foods. :(

"Regularly eating ultra-processed foods such as bacon, sausages, cakes, chips and ready meals
'raises your risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 15%'" :o

 Not that processed meat is great food, but Type 2 diabetes seems
related to excess daily carbohydrates, according to most online information
... especially quick-digesting carbs consumed in one meal. ;)

Re: https://nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/ ... ers-104872

"The Russian Navy Has a Big Decision to Make: Time to Give up on Aircraft Carriers?"

 Aircraft carriers seem directly related to the aircraft they need to support.
With modern military aircraft lighter, more varied, and powerful, of what value
is an old aircraft carrier, in need of significant maintenance and updating :?: :!:

With today's world media, occasional "dog & pony shows" with newer ships
- smaller than carriers - should be sufficient military boasting. ;)

Are aircraft carriers not becoming easier targets as technology improves?

"Thousands of the vessels, designed to contain wine, have been discovered in archeological sites on the island,
and experts believe the cups were designed to be used just once and then cast aside after feasts."

"The elite were showing off their wealth and status by throwing these great big parties, feasts and festivals"

 Seems to me ... "disposable" should imply long-term availability - not wealth/status display.
And by appearance, these vessels were crafted to be ceremonial - not objet d'art.

"Facebook explained ways it can still figure out where people are after they have selected not to share precise location data"

 Of course, with these new technologies "there are ways!" (as well as for other companies, governments, and hackers). There is no longer a way to be anonymous and untracked when using modern technology (internet, cell phones, credit/debit cards, etc.) ... even when not using (consider all of the cameras - increasingly with facial recognition - now used by cities and businesses worldwide). :o

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech ... ck-up.html

"We're all washing our dishes wrong: 60 per cent of Americans now 'clean-as-they-go' rather than allowing dirty plates
to stack up and washing them all in one go.. The survey also found that washing dishes is the second least-favourite chore,
behind cleaning the toilet, with having to leave items to soak as the main concern."

 Speaking of "one go" ...
Cleaning the toilet with a quick spray 'n wipe leaves it inviting for the next user ...
and the comprehensive cleaning each week is easier. :finger:

As for stacking dishes (maybe days but not weeks!), a quick soapy rinse is not so time consuming
and leaves the stack(s) ready for faster washing when you get a round toit. ;)

 En esta casa, folding washed clothes is close to the top of least favourite ...
followed by recharging the cell phone every three days, followed by house dusting
twice a year (or when I get a round toit).

"Zakia Khatun, the headteacher of Whitehall Primary School in East London, told students they were not to sing 'Lord' in 'Away in a Manger,'
and replaced it with 'little baby' so 'all pupils' could participate in an annual Nativity Tuesday."

 "Babe Jesus" would maintain the syllables, but "Jesus" might have been the offending word - not "Lord". ;)
However, without "Jesus", what baby was born "away in a manger" that a song about him became popular?

:bana: Replacing all words with "la" (or "lo" for male or it) is the most inclusive possible!
