"World's first space hotel scheduled to open in 2027"
Considering the expense of such a vacation
... and that you're confined to a sealed container
for the long transit as well as when resident,
simulated space vacations will be more popular.
Besides, a simulated vacation prepares travelers
for the real journey when they can afford it.

"Dutch inventor Peter van Wees has developed a booth for Covid tests ...
It is airlocked and people go in and shout or scream at their loudest ...
Particles from exhaled air are analysed based on size to detect Covid"
Causing virus particles to float all around you seems questionable.
Perhaps this test could be combined with the Chinese swab from behind
to justify a more hearty shout (preferably into a bag).
Who knew
this Chinese test confirms that this cavity is not for play:
there is always sufficient test material for the swab ...
which is labeled a "biohazard" when extracted.

"Assembly Bill 1084 would require retailers with 500 or more employees 'to maintain undivided areas of its sales floor where the majority of those items being offered are displayed, regardless of whether an item has traditionally been marketed for either girls or for boys' "
"The bill would also prohibit the use of signage to indicate whether a particular child care item or toy is for boys or girls. Online retailers with a physical presence in California would be required to label their toy and child care sections in a unisex or gender neutral way."
New shopping skills will be required to decide on purchases amongst the many items now displayed in one section!
Or "Brick 'n Mortar" shoppers may decide to shop online where traditional and alternative gender are clearly identified
... since males' and females' bodies still have different shapes, requiring different clothing designs.
Don't be surprised if boys want to go shoppin' with mom more often
... to observe girls shoppin' for intimate clothing, next to boys' things.
Maybe smartphone apps could be developed for gender identification of items at BM stores.

"when civil rights leaders successfully pushed for them to be integrated, many cities either sold the pools
to private entities or, in the case of Fairground Park, eventually drained them and closed them down for good."
Probably because whites then were not yet ready to accept integrated pools
and would have stopped using them (or mixed race fighting would occur there).
Besides, like current dumping of statues, these pools would have remained
symbols of previous segregation. The pools had to be closed.

"White food blogger faces backlash for misnaming noodle soup recipe 'pho' "
Interesting story ...
and proof that, online, it's always easier to offend someone
Ms. Gerard's apology for her inaccurate soup title:
“It was never my intention to offend or hurt anyone or the culture. I will make sure to be much more conscious
when deciding on recipe titles in the future and be sure to do more research."
Response to her apology:
"But many Vietnamese Americans believe the title change and apology aren't enough. During this time of racial reckoning, when violence against Asian Americans is on the rise, commenters aren't satisfied with a run-of-the-mill, PR-issued apology anymore. 'If you appreciate our food and our cultures, why don't you also speak out on the attacks that have been happening to Asian elders these last few weeks?' "
Lesson: The world's sensitivity to racism (probably nurtured by the media)
has reached a new plateau when an inaccurate recipe title can be seriously offensive
... and its quick name change plus cook's sincere apology still insufficient.
Has it not been true for many centuries that a culture's recipes
are not immediately preferred by another culture and that adaptation
is an effective way to introduce new ingredients, flavors, textures?
Is it not true that sports, cooking, and related venues
are desperately trying to avoid political discussions

One says she was summoned to a 'dimly lit hotel where he held her in an embrace'

Even old reruns of TV's Hogan's Heros and The Munsters
feature kissing hands and "sweetheart" endearments ...
not to mention embraces in all places (in all lighting)

Apparently, society's new rules mandate absolutely
no behavior having the slightest sexual symbolism!
This explains the trend to marginalize gender
with diffusion of traditional identity.

A recent "Ask Marilyn" article by Marilyn Vos Savant discusses the popular reference
to plumbing and electrical connectors as "male" and "female". A female reader proposed
that "plug" and "socket" should now be those terms.
What's intriguing about this discussion is that this "male" and "female" usage
directly associates with male and female anatomy ... which has not changed
despite recent years of new gender identification!
Interestingly, even when medical "redesign" occurs,
the options still remain "male" and female".
Re: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nat ... 609220001/
"State lawmakers are debating a new bill that would prohibit department stores
with more than 500 employees from dividing products for children by gender."
Kids' products would not need to be combined into one section
if the two separate sections were renamed "Plugs" and "Sockets"
... with no traditional gender labels within this P 'n S floor plan.
Then marketing euphemism permits "Paul/Pauline" for the Plugs
and "Sally/Sal" for the Sockets (includes opposite gender).

Also, this roasting might explain the je ne sais quoi of tasty coffee.

"Outrage as enterprising Girl Scouts are banned by troop leaders from selling cookies outside busy Michigan marijuana dispensary -

A morality decision by the troop leaders since dispensary was not just selling common foods.
To encourage the cookie sales would be a clear example of "the ends justify the means" ...
and instruct that these cookies could be sold even in front of houses of prostitution.
Actually, the decision may have related more to some customers
of this dispensary who would be interacting with the young girls.

Nonetheless, a plastic brain (also matures by environmental influences) would necessarily be different according to how the child is raised, not to mention how the child self-perceives* while maturing. And this suggests that male and female brains are indeed different, especially when examined as adult brains ... with "examination" more than size of internal structures.
* Self-perception also involves psychological integration of their unique anatomy ...
to date, still decidedly "male" or "female" at birth

OMG! Consider all that would have to be sanitized by Cancel Culture
if the past were not rejected via evolving perspective and usage.

"Banning Major and Champ from the White House is a bunch of malarkey"
A better perspective is that the White House is a national business
with private quarters like a hotel. When did it become acceptable
for non-animal related businesses and hotels to house pets ...
especially of this size
Say what?! These private quarters are like a home
So, yours has such a large and formal housekeeping staff
... with pet care included?

"As far as his personal life, Yiannopoulos said of his husband: 'The guy I live with has been demoted to housemate, which hasn’t been easy for either of us. It helps that I can still just about afford to keep him in Givenchy and a new Porsche every year.' "
Every straight man's secret dream (to be demoted to housemate with lifestyle privileges)?

"Jesse Tyler Ferguson has swapped sitcoms for raising a modern family of his own. The actor and husband Justin Mikita
welcomed son Beckett via a surrogate last July, and have been settling into fatherhood ever since."
"we’re raising him gay until he decides he’s straight."
Raising a child according to their visible sexual identity is one thing,
but raising a child to be straight or gay seems to ignore that this identity
is probably more internal (determined at birth with varying potential
for some environmental influence).
Children easily survive the later "No Santa!" revelation -
surviving a "Not gay!" self-discovery should be easy (?)
and less traumatic than a "Not straight!" discovery
... since "Not Gay!" seems the world's preference.
Note: "Gay" refers to same sex preference. A boy, believing himself to be a girl, would be "straight"
if she prefers boys ... apparently. But the boy, believing himself to be a girl who prefers girls,
may be why there are many genders (more on the way!). Something in the water
Gene therapy testing might lead to a vaccine for this childhood confusion.

Re: https://nypost.com/2021/03/10/nyc-schoo ... s-mom-dad/
"NYC school encourages kids to stop using words like ‘mom,’ ‘dad’ in ‘inclusive language’ guide"
"The detailed guide recommends using the terms 'grown-ups,' 'folks,' 'family'
or 'guardians' as alternatives to 'mom,' 'dad' and 'parents.' "
Intriguing subtlety of this new term collection that psychologically
removes the biologic relationship of the child to family members,
as if preparing the child to be raised by the state (or preparing
the children for their children to be raised by the state).
