"ability to choose from 15 different handshake skin tone combinations, and a pregnant man and pregnant person,

This year's winner for best gender oxymoron: "pregnant man". :bana:

 Speaking of banana, who knew :?: :!:

 Interesting observation about a current controversy,
with expert opinion almost equally divided now ... :o

One side claims facts but other side supports facts with detailed science :!:
This suggests that sources of side can be more convincing than science,
especially when the science is so new and complex.

Even popularity of source (re: "Likes" vs "Dislikes")
can sometimes trump science. ;)

Re: https://www.studyfinds.org/men-who-mumble-a-turn-on/

"Scientists with the American Institute of Physics say males who speak less clearly (or mumble) tend to be more attractive to the opposite sex because women see it as a sign of masculinity. Conversely, men find precise pronunciation alluring because it signifies femininity."

 Who can tell :?: :!:

A mumbling female and precise male might still "connect",
but stumbling, fumbling, or rumbling, by either partner
during a connection is not such a turn on ... albeit
crumbling might indicate a finale. :roll

and orders broadcasters to stop promoting 'vulgar internet stars' " :o

 Continuing example of what happens when the state dictates
social behavior, ethics, religion, etc. However, banning sissy men
may not be so controversial since gay male actors in the West
have become TV and movie symbols of rugged masculinity. ;)

 But who knew that internet stars of any persuasion
needed promotion to attract fans?! ;)

"Taliban turn US guns on rebels: Jihadists crush last pockets of resistance with high-tech artillery"

 Pictures of the Taliban flying U.S. military helicopters and using this "high-tech artillery" stand in sharp contrast
to the media's previous pictures of the Taliban capturing Kabul as tribal warriors with rifles. Contrast so noticeable
that "Something is wrong with this picture!" comes to mind. :?

 Is there more "orchestration" of these events than revealed ?!
By whom? For what purpose? By groups outside of Afghanistan?
With 911 anniversary approaching and Afghanistan a "hotbed
of terrorism", is this orchestration to "explain" another 911?

:hithere It's a bit obvious that the media is used to communicate agenda
rather than report facts. Another picture of the Taliban "with rifles":
https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/04/asia/uyg ... index.html

This agenda-not-facts suggests another way to evaluate the pandemic. ;)

In Big Business (including Big Pharma), there are two types of bean counters:

That story is so sad and Jean-Pierre's problems at the hospital that resulted in his ultimate coma should never have occurred.

But maybe below is why some people like Jean-Pierre Adam's wife lovingly tend them holding on to a hope
that some day their loved one may awaken:
