That "Barn home" is awesome! What a wonderful way to recycle...sort of incorporating the past with the present in modern architecture.

 April Fools Day jokes may be last century's frivolity ...
and considering "last century", the internet only recently existed,
limiting April Fool's jokes to a much smaller circle of "victims".

 In contrast, there should be a celebrated Believer's Day ...
perhaps where something unbelievable is found to be true. :roll
On second thought, this social media focus hints that
there is such a day (to his fans). ;)

"Woman is feared to have irreversible brain damage after going on a three-week fruit juice diet in Israel" :(

 This should be common knowledge by now (that quick weight loss diets can be harmful ... regardless of how the weight is lost),
although fasting for a few days (with proper hydration) can be tolerated by a healthy body, according to the experts.

Re: "The Telomerase Revolution" 2015, by Michael Fossel, p. 114

:o Fossel's discussion about aging intestines mentions that nutrient absorption is less effective and that
the effect of medicines/dosages may be inconsistent among patients. This hints that rare side effects
(e.g., affecting less than 10% of patients) can be real indeed ... despite disbelief by one's doctors.

 Probable solution: Keep a "wholeistic" professional on your physical care team
(on the side for "second opinion" if too controversial for conventional medicine). ;)

 Why "wholeistic" not "holistic" :?:

"THE WORLD’S biggest plane – with a wingspan larger than a football pitch – has resumed testing
after a three month hiatus as it prepares for its maiden flight."

:geek: What's immediately obvious about this plane's wing is the precision integration required
of the engines, etc., since stress in the center of the wing could easily break it in half. :o
Not a problem if each half of the plane can then land independently. ;)

The largest source of industrial emissions is the oil and gas industry."

"More than 4 million people in the UK are thought to have some form of diabetes."

 This extrapolates to many millions worldwide ... and strongly hints that modern diets (plus limited exercise, etc.) is the cause. :o

"They found those diagnosed before age 40 had the greatest excess risk for death, stroke, heart attack, heart failure or atrial fibrillation."

 Apparently, those after age 40 got their Type 2 well under control (since diabetes is rarely cured). ;)

"Nearly 1 in 13 US males reported having sex before age 13" (1/13 = 8%)

 Interestingly, the media (et al.) usually identify "having sex" as a specific event,
but sex is an assortment of activities, including pre- and post-sex activity :!:

LOL1: Today, cell phone "sexting" is now a sex activity. :o
LOL2: Are you a voyeur if you watch someone sexting?

Re: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2019/0 ... egan-diet/

"Meghan Markle will avoid dressing 'Baby Sussex' in pink or blue clothing like others
raising 'theybies' - children who are not referred to as 'he' or 'she.' "

 Compromising adults might soon refer to "theybie" (a boy) and "theybia" a (girl)
if their child shows early preference, despite a societal norm of "gender fluid".

And with advances in medical science, body parts/functions might be customized later,
permitting "sans gender" theybies to prove that the gender decision is postponed. :o

 A more practical societal solution is to redefine what is feminine and masculine,
giving children and parents more flexibility to the child's development without negating
apparent gender, at least until apparent gender is proven to be a birth anomaly. :?

(a comment) "How a couple works together on the day of the ceremony says a lot about what their marriage will be like. How a couple works together on the day of the ceremony
 Interestingly, the partners' intent to work together (and ability to do this in stressful circumstances)
may not be fully known by their wedding day, unless (perhaps) they had lived together for a year or more
... and these photographers' signs of a doomed marriage may just be "false positives". ;)

Re: https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/05/health/j ... index.html

"Hara Hachi Bu - Stop eating when you are 80% full.
With all the talk about calorie restriction, this notion is often hard to incorporate into your life,
especially in a 'clean your plate' culture. With hara hachi bu, the philosophy is that you should
still be a little hungry when you push the plate away." ;)

 Interesting concept, this 80% ...
Perhaps, identify the average meal where you're full (sufficiently to stop eating),
then next time, eat 80% of that :!:

 Interesting association, this 80% ...
80% of a meal (especially carbohydrates) may lessen the insulin requirement
along with decreasing the less beneficial by-products of digestion. :finger:

 Interesting portion, this 80% ...
No, 80% of a tub of ice cream, multi-serving package of chips/cookies, etc.,
is not the Hara Hachi Bu notion.

 Analysis: The goal should be to eat the nutrition needed for your day's activities
and not be constrained by an arbitrary rule of thumb. However, the 80% guideline
might help the overweights reduce to their ideal weight. As for what foods to eat,
evolution also determines what foods are beneficial to certain populations. ;)

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... shoot.html

"Chinese artist lies naked next to his father's remains after digging the skeleton out of his tomb for a photoshoot"

"Artist" seems sufficient justification in a culture that exhumes the bones of the departed for ceremonial reburial. As for the departed father, he has long separated from those decaying bones and graduated to the next life ... albeit, the father may prefer the son to focus on the father's new life and not the now-symbolic personal carriage of his former life.
