Re: https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news ... homes.html

"homes with grass roofs and $1M price tags are coming to the market" (in Frisco,Texas)

"Tapestry, is the first residential community in the U.S. for India-based Total Environment Homes,
a more ecologically-friendly approach to homebuilding on the Texas prairie."

:sunflower: Good luck with that! ... considering scorching summer heat in North Texas
(and no tall trees to shade the roofs). However, mountain goats could mow. :finger:

Experiential advice: Texas creatures 'n critters like to live in tall grass
and even street level breezes dry out vegetation during these summers!
As for solar panels (oops! that's a different neighborhood)

"Tamworth Distilling and Mercantile will be selling the deer-flavored liquor starting on Nov. 14"
"The unorthodox whiskey will be called The Deerslayer"

 If you drink too much whiskey it will be called the Dearslayer.
What pairs with Deerslayer? Why not whiskey flavored venison?
 "What's venison?" Oh deer! A vegetarian, I presume. ;)

"White Castle Hires 'Flippy' The Robot"

"Last year, White Castle announced that it would be making its return to the sunshine state with what will be the chain's largest restaurant.
While the coronavirus pandemic may have altered plans behind the scenes, construction on the new location is finally set to begin." 8)

"While there are currently no other White Castle locations in Florida, the company’s only other location in the state closed in the 1960s,
so it’s been a while since Floridians could get a sack of square hamburgers." :roll

 Bite size burgers by today's standard, as I recall (former S. Florida resident, a "few years" ago).
Not a lot of fixin's then but "melt in your mouth" appeal ... somewhat like a hot glazed donut
(or maybe that was complementary dessert from a shop nearby on State Road 441).

Re: https://www.investmentwatchblog.com/the ... right-now/

"The media cannot decide who wins. The media can simply project who they think will win based on vote totals at a given time. And unless the loser formally concedes prior to December 14th, the election remains in play." :o

 Thus, the reason why the President is being pressured to concede ... but he wants to play the game by the official rules. And why Russia, China, Brazil, and Mexico have yet to congratulate the media-projected winner (they're fond of rules ... apparently).

However, a concession will likely occur soon after Dec. 14th if resistance is proven futile ... by the rules. ;)

Re: https://www.naturalhealth365.com/cell-p ... -3615.html

"The new meta-analysis revealed 'significant evidence linking cellular phone use to increased tumor risk, especially among cell phone users with cumulative cell phone use of 1,000 or more hours in their lifetime.' In fact, people who logged this much cell phone use had a 60 percent increased risk of developing brain tumors. 1,000 or more hours is roughly equivalent to 17 minutes per day over a 10 year period."

 However, cell phone technology changes frequently; such studies may not factor in the improving safety of cell phones.
On the other hand :hithere chatting for many hours every day with current technology might confirm this risk.
On the other hand :hithere 5G phones are now arriving with their relatively limited testing. :?

 According to national trends, McPot might some day be an off-the-menu option in some locations,
but that McPlant order would be a bit pricey ... according to national trends. ;)

Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... -yard.html

"California man builds mini version of Disneyland's Matterhorn roller coaster in his yard after theme parks shuttered due to the pandemic"

 Impressive construction ... and space for it :!:

However, a virtual roller coaster should be possible now for typical game rooms. Ride would be simulated with movement in a chair, video goggles, and sounds/wind related to roller coaster movement. Caution: With sufficient simulation, riders might be a bit wobbly after a "ride". Such technology allows simulation of a hot air ballon ride, rafting down the rapids, or even a trip to the moon (takes "several" hours). ;)

... defined by Collins as 'the imposition of stringent restrictions on travel, social interaction, and access to public spaces' "

 Not to be confused with "lockup", a long-popular institutional restriction ... also worldwide.

"a COVID-19 vaccine likely won't be 100% effective, getting it will make a substantial number of people 'feel like crud' for a day or two,
and two shots will be required, not just one." :o

:bana: To help promote vaccines, employers should allow a Crud Day off (or several and with pay).
Once the conoravirus is tamed, Crud Days could be a standard employment benefit. :finger:

Boss: "Jake, your presentation needs to be this week - not next week!"
Jake: "Oh, crud!"
Boss: "You can work on it at home as your Crud Days."
Jake's family: "Oh, crud! Dad's in one of those moods!"

OMG! How can one person decide for someone else what is essential or non-essential :?: :!:

"I will never regret naming my son a strong name that has ties to his father, who is a huge part of his life. We had the opportunity to talk to him about standing up for himself, and about how we don’t change things about ourselves just because others don’t like them... If not, he will have lessons on defending himself firmly to naysayers, and carrying his identity confidently through his life." :finger:

 Not to worry! Bullies are the vaccines for self-confidence ... if you can tolerate the jabs. ;)
There's a good reason why "bull" is the significant essence of this predatory word slinging.

:bana: Speaking of word slinging ...
A good retort for a Graham bullied as "Graham Cracker": "Eat me!"
... but keep the retort mental to avoid escalation of the bullying.

coronavirus vaccines that usually take a year or more to prove safety and efficacy.
