"the woman, identified in court records only as M.O., notified GEICO in February 2021 of her intention to seek monetary damages, alleging she contracted HPV, the human papillomavirus, from an insured member in his automobile. She contended the man caused her to be infected with the STD despite being aware of his condition and the risks of unprotected sex."

 Interesting precedent ...
since catching Covid from driver's (or other passenger's)
air exhalation might be included in insurance protection.

"the following targets have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation: 192 aircraft, 130 helicopters, 1,150 unmanned aerial vehicles, 335 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,459 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 489 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,822 field artillery guns and mortars and 3,488 special military motor vehicles"

 Just Russian statistics (Ukraine has had similar successes) but highlights
that tanks and drones are very vulnerable in modern warfare, even hinting
that ships (and soon satellites?) are equally vulnerable. :o

 Such losses seem to hint of military/industrial collusion
to "retire" outdated equipment and supplies (IMO) ...
or just boost that part of the economy. :o

That investor profit greed helps inflate costs might be related.

Speaking of WTF, "whatever the market permits" suggests
capitalism (re: profit) gone awry in inflationary periods. ;)

 Demonstrates difference between "cooked food" and "recipe"

further preparation for baking is "recipe"). ;)

Sautéed spam over potatoes with Velveeta is "gourmet"

Re: https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.ph ... ion-ruling

"National Guard in all fifty (50) U.S. states has been told to adopt a 'Ready-Go' posture for deployment in preparation for the soon-to-be-released US Supreme Court ruling on Abortion. The Court is expected to overturn the precedent of Roe v. Wade 'which made Abortion legal.' "

"While overturning Roe v. Wade will NOT make Abortion automatically ILLEGAL, it will put the issue back under state control, for state legislators to craft laws their citizens deem appropriate."

 This might relate to recent DHS warning that summer protests and riots may occur. The news leak a month ago might have been an intentional test of probable public response to an overturn. Also, such protests/riots may be orchestrated chaos to blame on the ruling as distraction from Monkeypox, Covid, Ukraine, failing economy, etc.

But that "lifelike" may be sufficient to convince less discriminating humans.

"A Drag Queen Race Already Won" :o

" 'My name is Jack. My mother calls me Jack. Everybody who cares about me calls me Jack, because that’s my name,' says a voiceover as a dark-haired young man talks on the phone and stares into a mirror ringed with lights. His eyes are swept with colorful shadow, and he absentmindedly runs an old safety razor over his beard. 'But I work under the name of Sabrina. And all the queens call me Sabrina'." :love

 Obviously, "drag" is Hollywood (performance) - not sexual orientation
... since any LGBTQ (or whatever) can perform as drag. Incidentally,
the Hollywood drag that matters most is female impersonation
(intriguing, considering that "female" is now so fluid).

"Female Drag Matters!" comes to mind. ;)

:hithere Amigo / Rod why are you so disparaging of the LGBTQ2S community?

 Actually, more concerned about the continuing focus on sexual activity,
especially "drag" which is hardly representative of these alternative lifestyles.

Of all the LGB people I've known for many decades, their sexual liaisons
were but a small portion of their other daily activities, more typical
of the entire world at work and play every day. ;)

At the same time, I'm reminded that I often respond to the news
meant to be controversial and should avoid these traps. :finger:

The "trans" movement aroused my greater curiosity. Now, having read
many opinions by medical professionals, I'm convinced that alternative
sexual orientation has no biological basis* - anatomy is always anatomy -
X,Y chromosomes have not changed since humans arrived on the planet.
Nonetheless, orientation is choice and modern society is permissive. 8)

* actually, biological basis is probably atypical brain wiring
for that birth anatomy ... or vice versa; "atypical" suggesting
that the majority of humans have creation symmetry.

 That 'LGBTQ2S' contains two more identifiers ('2S') unknown to me
hints that 26 letters, 10 numbers, and special characters will better define
the more common sexual orientations during the next decades. :roll

:study: Re: https://www.foxnews.com/media/oregon-sc ... c-sex-acts
"Oregon school district books contain pornographic imagery of sex acts"

"But viewing pictures of sexual acts, regardless of the genders of the people involved,
conflict with the inherent sacredness of sex."

 Suggests pornography* is the "line in the sand" about what schools may teach, mostly because
parents are not part of this teaching (and their child raising/nurturing is undermined by it). :(

* "material that depicts nudity or sexual acts for the purpose of sexual stimulation."

 Worst case in point: Instructing children about anal sex rarely includes
warning that they're playing in a sewer (relative to what's in that orifice).
Tip: Even the flushing preparation for a colonoscopy does not render it
entirely free of "hazardous" fecal material (digestion does not stop).
Speaking of flushing, cities now test for a certain disease in sewage,
waste sourced by these poop shoots :!:

:study: "LGBTQQIP2SAA - acronym for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer,
questioning, intersex, pansexual, two-spirit (2S), androgynous, and asexual."

 These terms all allude to "not heterosexual", except that this term specifies "opposite sex" ...
which is yet to be defined for all the "nots" that liaison with others-than-self. And surprisingly, "queer"
has always been derogatory and not supportive of terms meant to be complimentary and progressive.

:study: Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... usion.html

"I'm a biological woman that medically transitioned to appear like a male through synthetic hormones and surgery
... I will never be a man, ever … Medical transition is an illusion; you create an illusion of the opposite sex —
there is no such thing as changing genders." :o

"Tom Hanks SLAMS his Da Vinci Code movies as 'hooey' and admits he only did for the money"

 Seemingly unfortunate comment that will degrade further viewing of these films
by those who prefer to believe that the Code was real. On the other hand, actors act
and repeat the words of writers, so 'hooey' gets to be opinion kept hidden in a closet
until the profits were distributed. In this case, impressive hooey dollars! :roll
