"Austin company looking to dock paychecks for those receiving stimulus checks"

 Apparently, a company desperate to survive,
effectively nullifying intent of the stimulus (boost the economy). :(

About hydroxychloroquine therapy amd Dr. Zelenko's 699 patients ...

:study: Re: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3829492/posts

"The rationale for my treatment plan is as follows. I combined the data available from China and South Korea with the recent study published from France (sites available on request). We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well tolerated, hence the risk to the patient is low."

"we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations."

Bottom line (IMO): "prevents acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)", 8)
often the major Covid-19 complication.

"The drug, leronlimab, is delivered by injection twice in the abdomen ... Of seven critically ill patients who received the drug in New York, two were removed from ventilators and two showed significant improvement. Doctors right now don’t know quite how leronlimab works, but studies suggest it calms the overly aggressive immune response."

 More evidence that "overly aggressive immune response" causes severity
of the coronavirus (Accute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, ARDS). ;)

:study: While Vitamin C is now a focus for therapy, Vitamin D is a significant component of a good immune system:

Re: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immune_system

"It is conjectured that a progressive decline in hormone levels with age is partially responsible for weakened immune responses in aging individuals. Conversely, some hormones are regulated by the immune system, notably thyroid hormone activity. The age-related decline in immune function is also related to decreasing vitamin D levels in the elderly. As people age, two things happen that negatively affect their vitamin D levels. First, they stay indoors more due to decreased activity levels. This means that they get less sun and therefore produce less cholecalciferol via UVB radiation. Second, as a person ages the skin becomes less adept at producing vitamin D." :o

:study: Re: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... worse.html

"How the amount of the coronavirus you get infected with could decide whether you suffer mild or severe symptoms. Having a high viral load gives an infection a 'jump start' and raises the risk of a patient's immune system becoming overloaded in its battle against COVID-19. This is because it gives the immune system more time to get a handle on the infection before it gets overwhelmed and symptoms start to show."

 Not mentioned in this article is that initial viral load may be more than a one-time event, such as contracting the virus from multiple sources within hours (or from the same source). And immune system health also determines how well/fast the first response occurs. ;)

"Historians now believe that the fatal severity of the Spanish flu’s 'second wave'
was caused by a mutated virus spread by wartime troop movements." :o

 Most likely, today's medical technology, research, and dedicated professionals will be able to forecast if such mutation occurs with Covid-19.
To date, online information suggests that such mutation is not occurring. Yet, a "second wave" may still occur, perhaps with less deadly effect (albeit social distance and quarantine might again be popular prevention).

There are no controls on how many days a mask can be worn!
If a mask is worn for a week, then the mask wearer sneezes,
does this not propel any virus away from the mask's surface?

:study: Re: https://rense.com/general96/how-viruses ... r-eyes.php

 These discussions about airborne virus and wearing masks+eye protection ignore the fact
that some facial skin is still exposed to airborne virus - complete head covering may be required. :o

With so many vulnerabilities to the virus and people still able to avoid it, "viral load" comes to mind:
quantity of virus during exposure (plus immune response) may be key to who does or does not contract it.
Also, immunity may not occur until virus has been contracted then defeated by the immune system. ;)
