Hi Nikki,
I wonder if EFT tapping would help? I hope to take a good long look at all of this to help G and I. But this is a start and seems simple enough.
Hugs,
Sandy

This worked for me.

Since I was a child, I've suffered from lack of physical energy.
When I first read the Essene Gospel of Peace in my 20's, it seemed to offer a way toward a more healthy physical body.
Now I am 68 years old have have been trying to live on a raw food diet on and off for about 30 years.
But during all that time, I could never continue past 6 months because I would become protein deficient and even more fatigued than usual. This was because I was unable to get complete protein (unable to get all 11 amino acids) from bean sprouts alone. I tried adding organic wheat sprouts (as described in the Essene Gospel of Peace) but the sprouts always had so much rubbery gluten they were nearly inedible. Even after being chewed for a long time, modern wheat sprouts had the consistency of chewing gum.

I could not understand this because the Essene Gospel of Peace refers to wheat as "the most perfect among all seed-bearing herbs".
This went on for years.

Then I discovered Einkorn wheat. Einkorn is the original un-hybridized wheat from old testament times.
It contains a completely different kind of gluten from modern wheat. Einkorn wheat is very easy to digest and never turns into "rubber".

At first, I bought very high quality organic Einkorn from Jovial and Breadtopia but the percentage of wheat berries that sprouted was pretty low because they both use relatively harsh milling machines which nick and scar the wheat germ. Their Einkorn is excellent for baking but not very good for sprouting.
After a few years, I discovered Bluebird Grain Farms in Winthrop Washington. Nearly 100% of the Bluebird wheat berries sprout. The Bluebird people say this is because they use a very gentle milling machine with soft milling surfaces (similar to the hand milling done in Bible times).

My decades long search for complete protein by combining wheat sprouts with bean sprouts is now a success. My raw food diet now has protein that includes all 11 amino acids. The diet feels very balanced and satisfying. Finally, I feel I'll be able to stay on the Essene diet for many years
and hopefully for a life-time. The balanced protein and what ever other unknown nutrients Einkorn has (being the most perfect herb) make it very easy to eat the Essene way every day.
For any people who are attempting a diet similar to mine,
I would recommend Einkorn wheat from Bluebird Farms. Every Einkorn kernel sprouts. And the sprouts that have absolutely no rubbery gluten and dissolve easily when being chewed. I now eat once each day. Each day I make a salad containing Einkorn sprouts, mixed bean sprouts, organic red leaf lettuce, a finely chopped organic fuji apple, one avocado (or sometimes 1/2), . The most important are the sprouts and lettuce.
The avocado make it unnecessary to eat less healthy kinds of fats. Other things can be added but try to keep the salad simple.
It would probably be unwise to attempt to go directly from a conventional meat diet to this kind of diet.
Remember the Gospel of Peace says "don't work the angles too hard".

Peace be with you.

Thank you John G,
I so appreciate your sharing this with us. I was once a vegetarian but over the last year began suffering some of the symptoms you described along with muscle pains and low iron. To be honest I was not careful to watch my food combinations to get the appropriate amino acids. I find your diet fascinating and appreciate your tenacity at discovering the ancient grains making this lifestyle and diet a complete success. It seems that not only does this type of diet serve you well energetically, but I suspect it has a wonderful impact on your immune system as well. Thank you for posting this and welcome to the board. (again? I am thinking you have been with us before? :) )
love,
Sandy

I also want to apologize to you. For some reason, I forgot to check for new member posts needing to be approved so your post waited a couple days in the Que.
So sorry you had to wait and some members were deprived of a week end viewing your healing information.

Hi. Spirulina and Chlorella seem to provide a lot of energy too. (And apparently a large proportion of protein, they both have different profiles so take both) I am also on a fully raw diet, and have tonnes more energy. Sp. and Chl. in a shake can be more palatable. Regards, Dylan.

Hi Dylan,
Actually I have both Spirulina and Chlorella in my cabinet as we speak. Yet, I must admit I haven't had more then a couple smoothies with them in it. This is mostly due to texture as it was just a little slimy. Do you think I may have done something wrong?... added too much? It was combined with fresh homemade green juice that I had just made. I suppose I should give it another try. And now you have me longing to go raw again. I know a person can prosper on this kind of diet when proper nutritional needs are carefully adhered to as fresh fruits and veggies are loaded with enzymes that so support our immune systems. :sunflower:

Anyway thanks again for the suggestions and in advance for any ideas you might have to help the green powders a little more palatable. : :)

Sandy

Hey Sandy. One way is to take Sp. and Chl. with lemon juice and honey. Another way I found was to add some coconut milk to the smoothie which improved taste and texture. Other than that I think it's just putting up with it, but you'll enjoy the benefits. Regards, Dylan.

Welcome to to the boards John! And thanks to you and everyone else for the raw foods information. I could really use a boost to my energy level in anticipation of fairer weather to come. So much to do! So little time!

Have a great day all,
Kim

My fatigue is a direct result of being a moron. :p Carbs, alcohol, social formalities, work and lots of caffeine. I can vouch to healthy eating habbits. One of my favorite tips my GF shared with me was healthy eating... she taught me to make a, "smashed salad." It's completely raw... my favorite combo so far is something like spring mix, mango, kiwi, fiji Apple, arugula, shredded carrots, crushed pecans and Serrano pepper. The sky's the limit! Once you add everything into a mix you use avacado and lemon as a dressing by smashing everything together. Half the fun is using your hands to crush everything :p I swear by the increased energy levels! That coupled with exercise about turned off my fatigue. Although something tells me since your original post you may have already found your own way?

Eric! That is just what the doctor ordered... :) We will try your smashed salad for lunchdinner today... Wish I had a mango to put into it but I do have other fruits that will suite. Thanks for that great tip!

Nikki, I'm thinking of you today, hoping you are happy and healthy. :hithere

Eric! Feels like I'm on an emotional roller coaster from the boards today. Saw a post from Kwame and started crying uncontrollably, then saw this from you and it hit squarely on my funny bone! Interrupted residual tears with a very loud and long belly laugh. I don't mean to down play your 'being a moron', it just struck me as hilarious, probably because after being on vacation my diet at the moment is swirling out of control! I'm definitely a member of the Moron Club as far as that goes. Was actually thinking of doing a cleanse this morning to try and get back on track.

Love to all,
Kim

Just makes me think how Ralph Smart from the Infinite Waters channel says how starting a vegan diet radically changed his life for the better, and was a key part of his journey. (Check out his 7 day vegan challenge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zs3YDtpdQg). I like to think you can go even better with organic and raw. It's easier said than done to stick to such a diet; I'm also keen to start incorporating some fasting. God bless! Dylan.
