Hey Geoff
I was wondering, what are the Akashic Records according to what you have learned?
I wanted to know so i could compare it to what Linda Howe wrote in this book

I know you didn't ask me but the way that I see it the AR is the primary database where all of the universal records (data, info) are stored... :D

..and, of course, some beings have direct access to it. 8)

Akashic Records are to me, no more than a name for the continuing existence of "history". Certainly some claim that they exist physically, and you can go to a hall of records, and look anything up, in full sound, colour, emotion etc. Its exactly like reliving the event, as witnessed by the initial participant. While they may well be accessible in a form such as I described, I suspect "reality" is more subtle. You can find an example of reading from a record in the Hall of Records in the book by Sylvia Browne in Life on the Other Side. You can also read Judas Iscariot discuss how spirits very much enjoy these records: Thought Containers

Thank you
Linda Howe describes it as a spiritual Internet where everything that ever happened on a big scale or to an individual soul can be experienced and there is unlimited knowledge in the records. But, of course there are light beings that she calls Lord of the Records whose job is only to let you see the knowledge and information granted to you. Not everything is available and not everybody can enter the records which is the job of the Lords of the records. She also discusses the prayer method of entering the records in which you say a special prayer and the vibrations of it lead you to the records while meditating.

Yeah I guess to a non-tech person, the internet is a linked repository, but if you understand object oriented programming (I do) that analogy is far better. Although I am not sure how far it has to go, as there are multiple "instances" of objects, as well as properties, which give you the linking.

That's a very good desription since the cosmos is indeed a network just like the Internet.
