Serpent of Light-beyond 2.012

Post by Judy »

Hi Friends out there,

There is a book called "Serpent of Light-beyond 2.012"
by Drunvalo Melchizedek that I enjoyed reading.

Drunvalo's approach to spirituality is more along the
lines of the indiginous peoples of this planet. More
native american mixed with the concepts of India than
anything but ties in with everything else. This would be of interest to those who have an interest in shamanizm. The language and terminology is more along these lines. This book may be of interest to those of you who have this approach to our Creator.
Those of you who have interest in the happenings
before the end of the Mayan calender might enjoy the
words of this book.

There is one point however that could be confusing to
some. This is something that could cause some of you
to close the book before you actually get into it,
thereby missing a very interesting story. This could
apply to you out there that, like myself are avid Urantia
book readers. Before you encounter what could be a stumbling block to some interesting reading, I will here explain.

Drunvalo says that he is a great, great, great, great,
great, grandson of Machiventa Melchizedek.

Now, the Urantia book says that Prince Machiventa
lived the life after the men of the realm but that he
never married nor could he have reproduced children.
It says that although he looked like us his body was
constructed so that it did not carry the life plasm of
any of our human races. The tree of life was not
available at that time either. This is on page 1015 of the
Urantia book. However, on page 400 under the section
entitled “Melchizedek Life Carriers” the book explains
that in every local system of inhabited worlds
throughout Nebadon there is a single sphere whereon
the Melchizedeks have functioned as life carriers.
These abodes are called the system midsonite worlds
and on each of them a materially modified Melchizedek
Son has mated with a selected material Daughter. Their
offspring are called midsoniters. These creatures are
reproducing beings except for the ones removed from
their sphere by seraphic transport. That method of
transport involves a dematerialization process and
renders the individual incapable of reproduction.
However, those midsoniters who leave the sphere by
other means apparently are not affected.
Now, I do not recall any reference to Prince Machiventa having been one of the Fathers on a midsonite world. He did have a materially modified body however while he was here on Urantia. If there is any fact to what Drunvalo says
about being a grandson of Prince Machiventa, that
would make him a midsoniter, I would assume.
That would have to be up to each of us as individuals to go
within and ask about.

So, anyway, I enjoyed the book. Hope you enjoy it as
well.
Love All of You.....Judy...M.

Dear Judy,

There would need to be a heck of a lot more greats to get back to Abraham and Melkizadek's time. Not sure myself how many, but perhaps between 70 and 100? I think we will have to dismiss that claim.

love,
Geoff.

Hi Geoff,
I realize that there would have to be more greats in there for Prince Machiventa to have been involved with this during his incarnation here. The point of my post was to simply say what I did say, that he would have to be a midsoniter in order to be a grandson of Prince Machiventa. I put that out there because a few years back I would have been one of the people who put the book down and forget it because of his claim to being a grandson of any distance. Like I said:
The Urantia book says that Prince Machiventa
lived the life after the men of the realm but that he
never married nor could he have reproduced children.
It says that although he looked like us his body was
constructed so that it did not carry the life plasm of
any of our human races.
However, I would have missed an interesting read. That is why I added the info from the UB about the midsoniters, children of a Melchizedek and material daughter union.
I was simply trying to pave the way for any UB readers who would have an interest in reading the book so that the claim of being a distant grandson would not cause a problem. The only way he could be a grandson from my understanding is by way of being a midsoniter. I read with an open mind and gleen valuable material from many sources. I enjoyed this book. In view of the oddness of this planet, I do not easily discount possibilities neither do I swallow hook line and sinker every claim. I just found the situation interesting in view of the section 4, page 400, under Life Carriers, we are told that every local system has a single sphere whereon the Melchizedeks have functioned as life carriers. These are the midsonite worlds. These worlds have a materially modified Melchizedek Son who mates with a material daughter. Their children are called midsonters. These children reproduce. Some of these offspring serve on their native worlds or on some intervening sphere. It is an interesting subject. Whether or not he is one of these, the book is interesting.
